Hi good afternoon guys, i got some serious problem here, i went to sleep last night with about 40% of battery left. and this morning the phone just died.

I thought battery flat, so i charge the phone for like almost an hour already then I try starting, but it couldn't start....... only a red LED blinking every 5-7 seconds or so....

I tried removing the battery and restart again, it just don't work......

I tried charging with 2 different chargers, using laptop, all no respond.

I tried starting in download mode (Home+Volume down+ Power)

but all these couldn't work.... damn!

can someone help me please?

my phone rooted, 4.1.1 on perseus alpha 28.5 kernel I think....... sigh...
I can't start nor do anything.... I can't boot my phone...

Please help me

so your suggestion is?? send into service centre to get replacement?

ok, I'm aware of sds problem, and I've seen a few cases of them in xda. most of them can't be recovered.
what they do is got their motherboard replaced.... am i right?

I think I need to send into service centre already... surely take more than a day...

but my phone is rooted, I don't have the chance to triangle it away and unroot it.. sigh... how?

so I'm safe! hahaha they won't know the secret of my root! and everything inside is lost
all my pictures. the latest one I haven't make a copy of them =(

at least this is the good news for me for my phone's part(s) to get replaced at no cost of mine since it's still within a year. thank god.

hello all, just wanna update you guys. On sunday my phone gone SDS, sent in for warranty claim, changed motherboard and got my phone yesterday. quite efficient here, kudos to samsung malaysia on this.

Now they have automatically updated the version to 4.1.2 for me... and the status is "Modified", but I haven't root my phone yet wor. how come status modified already.

oh ya, over the counter, that guy told me to keep the build number. About Device>build number, the last 4 digits, keep at "DMC3".

I'm sorry, I don't quite understand, why did he say so. I didn't really ask him further as it was already very late when I went to collect my phone and they were closing already. so anyone of you can enlighten me please. tq.

It happened to me on Sunday morning. I sent in to service centre for warranty claim and I got my phone last night.

but since yours is AP phone, I'm not sure how are you gonna change your mother board. at service centre, the motherboard costs about RM700 a piece.

I tried reading the perseus kernel post on xda, I understand that the perseus kernel alpha 31 fixes the SDS. but now the latest is alpha 36.3, does this version of kernel includes all the fixes and patches that fixes most of the problems previously?

I'm gonna root my phone and flash the perseus kernel here. please advise me, I can't be sure if I'm getting this right.
