How people tend to use social media

My LED indicators suddenly stopped working It used to flash blue/green when I get a notification (email, sms etc) but it suddenly stopped working. The red indicator during charging has also stopped lighting up. I have already enabled all the LED indicators in the Setting, restarted the phone countless times but nothing works.

The blue LED does light up when I restart the phone. I've also done the *#0*# and tested the LEDs and they are all fine.

My phone is not rooted. I haven't done anything funky with it except installing apps.

Please help!!

installing apps can be 'funky', no? honestly... i'm too lazy to actually go find out what funky means...

but seriously, probably some apps decided to play naughty and cause this. try uninstalling (last in, first out) and see if it fixes the problem.

Yup affirmative. Just tested. Working fine but took a while for GPS to lock. This is really good news.

Funky like rooting or flashing ROM (no idea what it means though. lol).

I've uninstalled the apps which was last installed before the LED stopped working but it didn't solve the problem The last I remembered I rebooted the phone while it's plugged in to the USB port of my PC. Will that affect it?

Worst case is a factory reset. Or clear Caches from the stock recovery.

Eh mine lock very fast. Maybe cos I use GPS frequently.

should not affect the phone... i do that occasionally too... reboot while plugged into USB.

well, if you are sure that the reboot caused the LED to crash, then best thing to try is to factory reset. that means having to reinstall everything. remember to backup everything before you do this!

but i'd first advise trying to uninstall more apps, power down phone, turn on phone, etc... before you factory reset.

Try using other app to control led like light manager.

I just bought a damn cheap note 2 glass screen protector for rm55 in the forum here. Damn happy with the quality. I never buy glass d cuz at 100 over bucks I still scratch from sand. But 55 is awesome considering I change plastic screen protector every months cuz it has minor scratch from wear and tear.
