Thx. I'm typing this with the number row enabled. The keyboard is freakingly damn compressed. Probably would do good to those using tablet. Going back to no number row.sad.gif
Thx bro. Good share.

Sentinel and most aosp rom already comes with lmt pie. You do not need to use that link from xda.

Ok installed...well it's the same as Hacker's Keyboard in terms of small key size. The sad thing about Hacker's Keyboard is that the cursor keys are not supported in all apps. Otherwise being able to use Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V is a great bonus in many cases.

HTC One thread also complaining about the delayed release of their 4.2.2 and to top it off, their current ROM does not have the switchable toggles.....

Wa this thread so super slow today. Perseus Vs Devil kernel for DME1 stock rom. Which one better for battery life? Stock kernel not battery friendly.

Just a question, if you flash SentinelROM, you do not exactly restore your apps? The instruction stated that they do not recommend TiBu sad.gif

I think it is due to the different partitioning in 4.2.2

Seems like someone actually managed to flip the switch for both the quad cores in the Exynos Octa!!!

http://androidheadlines.com/2013/07/galaxy...-overclock.html

Holy smoked motherboards Batman! Galaxy S4 hacker DSWR of the Android Central forums managed to overclock all 8 cores of his Model GT-I9500 to a screaming 2.8 GHZ. The results were, as you can imagine, rather devastatingly heated(I hope to see pictures of the destruction soon!)

He managed to trick the phone into believing it was in both power saving and performance modes simultaneously. This forced the powerful A15 quadcore to work simultaneously along with the less powerful A7 core. A configuration that is most definitely not supported with a stock kernel.

Believe it or not the phone was actually able to run for a while with this setup. For a glorious half an hour no Touchwiz lag was experienced. Sadly the phone was “completely knackered” after his session. The A7 chip completely burnt out, hopefully he’ll find some use for the hardware

There is NO issue with using tb to restore app. That is just a standard precaution almost all aosp Rom chef states.

The partition is just for internal sd as it is suppose to support multi user. The data partition is the same hence there is no issue.

Yup. *face palm.

Anyway I tried using red pill kernel(aosp). you'll get glitches on screen and the screen freezes once u open stweaks.

Sentinel is quite smooth but battery wise...hmm not so sure.sad.gif

notice that she keeps her hand at least 2" away from the screen ALL THE TIME. This means NO PALM REJECTION. This means you won't be able to use it for more than 5 mins in handwriting mode without your arm getting tired.

So, whatever the technology for pen input currently, active digitizers FTW.

Strange. I installed this on my tab last month, from google play. The only concern is about privacy, I think. Is this the same app? hmm.gif

Any keyboard app that stores your own dictionary words will pose a risk. So don't use it for internet banking. I only use a secured notebook to perform banking, or run a CD-based linux for that session to do it.
