hi all..i'm using Asrock Z77E itx mobo...
underside got 1 msata slot which is running 3gb/s
is there a major throttle down in speed if i put in a 6gb/s msata SSD?
tq in advance

happened to me b4...
just make sure SSD got separate connector from psu...
do not use molex extender (it gots 4 wires only compared to 5 wires from psu connector)
else as recommended in replied above

i'm looking for 2.5" SSD with rm300++ budget...
hard to decide lah..so many choices...
any recommendation?
Intel SSD 520 series 120GB=rm359
Samsung 840 Evo 120GB=rm330
Corsair Force GS 120GB=rm339 etc

did rapid mode has significant effect on the performance?

really have the conflict between Intel 530 and Samsung 840

been reading this 47 pages of thread,then must admit Samsung 840 Evo wins the crowd....
i think for average user (gaming,surf) the difference in real life performance not so noticeable..mayb
this time i bought Intel 530 (compensate rm30 extra for extra 2 yrs wrnty+bracket+fancy stuff inside)
next purchase of SSD,Samsung 840 Evo for sure...

my fren use KingSpec 128GB msata SSD (KSM-mSATA.5i-128MJ)
but gaming on this SSD suffer with stuttering and spiking issue.. (other 2.5" SSD and hardisk no issue)
any sifu can help? i do google but not much info...

reliable wise i'll go with intel 530
~rm30 extra price tag with extra 2 years of warranty....
