Why not??
Regardless of your platform, you will feel significant speed boost
Been using LGA775 with SSD for 1 year +
You can use SATA 6 SSD on SATA 3 port with no issue at all brows.gif
Just grab it,you will feel like just injected new life onto your pc

From my experience on dealing with Taiwan manufacturer,Team Group
You liaise with Taiwan Team Group and you send your stuff over to Team Group
Once they receive it,come back quite quickly and you get some surprised throw int too
RMA ram end up come back got ram + ram tray biggrin.gif

man.. first day Intel 530 owner.. and already having problems with the AHCI config sweat.gif

went on boot loop when changed from IDE to AHCI

then attempt to install AHCI drivers from ASUS, platform not supported -.-

Simple
Boot with IDE
Modified registry to enable AHCI
Reboot and go bios change to AHCI
That's it
