Let me tell you something about the play style that I favored.

1. I love to make surprise ambushes, I mean it's like we are having a big battle in the middle, then I love to micro something to attack ur miner or stuff
2. I really prefer a race that provide great visions, something like observer thingy at protoss
3. I love to turtle, I think best defense is the best offense
4. I love a race that does not entirely depend on 1 source of mineral to perform effectively


so, which race is the one that suits me the most? tongue.gif I think it is Terran, but I am not sure

Welcome welcome....

It sounds like Protoss is the thing for you lol. Terran can drop for 1) but you want 2) and 3) which Protoss fits the category better.

Terran is mineral heavy
Zerg is gas heavy
Protoss is gas mineral heavy (Zealot archon Colo etc)

I am not really familiar with HotS, there are new units which I guess really change how the game was meant to be compared to WoL, but between Protoss and terran, I thought Terran are better than turtling?

I've tried zerg, need superhuman micro skills sad.gif I dont have, I can get my APM really high, but all those APM are either because I spam alot, or the decision I made using zerg is just sucky

Terran cannot turtle as good compared to the other races. Protoss and Zerg nowadays like to get 3 bases and once they have 3 bases and beyond, Terran is in deep trouble so need to be aggressive and force an economic or military advantage to win the game.

last time I play a bit WoL before, Terran had Siege Tank and a couple of anti air, it is not penetrable blink.gif

Cannot penetrate? Get a super economy that you can get all your high tier units like brood lords or collosus carriers etc. Can be broken one ;P

Micro = t benefit the most compare other races, no say other races no need micro but t dps benefit more from micro
small ambushes = t army alwiz famous for 1 drop maximum dmg, compare to z n toss as their army r not doing well in small skirmishes
Obs thingy = eventhough he cant 24/7 scout , t can alwiz scan
turtling = cmon, mech turtle...u seriously wanna engage that? We alwiz wanna caught mech out of position not engage into fortify siege line, watch panzer king aka goody
My opinion mayb wrong since i not high lvl player aka master/gm, choose ur best race if u hav try all 3 races.. i dun random but i do play a race a season to know get used/race suit me

Or you can try playing all 3 races abit... after awhile you can tell which race suits your playstyle more

Mech Turtle is a joke in TvP, so many ways to counter by Protoss.

Drop, runby all can be done by all races. Terran drops a lot but it counteracts against the turtling lol. Terran always aim to not scan for MULEs are important like heck lol.

is there such thing as turtle until a big army, then do a single push and win the game? this kind of win rate is higher than the one like zerg, always push and harass? or?

Yes there is something as turtle until max supply. It's called a Death Ball. Protoss tend to do it a lot due to the design of their race.
