A bit of Guild's History
[TIME] was created on 18-Feb-2013, reformed from Kairos [kI] which Guild Leader is inactive. The founder of [TIME] chose to reform instead of joining other sg-based guilds available at that time because those guilds don't seem to be promising and true enough, all but a few are dead while the few that remains are far from their former glory. The founder dislike being part of guilds and likewise people that come and go, there is no meaningful relationship in it.

About Us
[TIME] is an large PvX community guild that engage in wide variety of activities and that includes WvW. As [TIME] is a community guild, all of the officers are volunteers and most guild activities are members driven voluntarily. The guild is primary based in SEA timezone while having coverage extending to NA timezones which means that other than asians and oceanians, we also have americans, europeans and some arabs.

What you will find here
Our guild's activities are scheduled in a way to minimize conflicts with one another. We once allowed activities' volunteer leaders to run activities conflicting with complete different activities at the same timing, the long term end result was that it destabilize the community and pull the people further apart. With that said, here are the scheduled activities:

PvE Raid Teams

Do note that we are a guild before a raid, do not apply if all you going to do is nothing but raid.

PvE Training Raids
We have training raids on every weekend.

WvW
We have a WvW team made specifically for competitive purpose while our WvW raids are open to the entire guild.
Note: Currently only available for SEA, looking for volunteers to run NA's.


Scheduled GMs
We run two GMs so you can attend the one that fit your timing best but we do hope that you will help out the GMs even if you have done previously in the week.

Guild Hall - Windswept Haven
We claimed the latest guild hall, Windswept Haven, with about 60+ people. We do switch between different guild halls once a blue moon for decoration reasons.


What you need to know
1. Don't expect paid services
We often and still do have players joining us expecting services that you can only get by paying. Remember, this is a community guild and everything are run voluntarily.

2. Multi cultures & religions community
We span across countries and regions, thus we have people of different religions and cultures. There are jokes or slang that may deem acceptable to yourself and people immediately around you but it may not be said the same for other people from other places. We do engage in non-extreme sex talks from time to time.

3. Communication
What is a community guild without communications? We or myself like chatty people, be it on teamspeak or guild chats. It is what helps create a community. Also, if you have any issue, don't be drawing circles in the corner and brood over it until it explode, talk to the officers or leader.

4. Involvement
There is really no point in joining a community guild if you have zero interest in partaking any activities of the guild. Remember, we are members driven and thus we do only want people that are interested to do things with the guild, otherwise our community will degrade and perish.

5. Strict enforcement on certain rules
The guild take a very serious stand on unwanted behaviors that will lead to negative growth of the guild, be it in activities or guild's growth. A community guild isn't built easily while it can be destroyed very easily. Also, we have too many times found people joining our guild only to rip our rosters to benefit their other guilds, at the expenses of our guild.

Requirements
90% Represetnation Rule
90% of your gaming time (per week) has to be representing us.

• It was once part of the cornerstone in building the community guild.
  • We always have many people who are kinda selfish, quiet, lazy, etc; people due to their nature who simply will have a hard time to be involved with the guild. This rep rule helps make it much easier for all those people to involved with the guild, be it indirectly or directly.
  • At that time, our guild activities (PvE / PvP / WvW) and community social were at the peak, until cross chat came.
  • We continue to keep it as it still has other benefits.

Henge of Denravi Server
If you want to do WvW with the guild, you have to be in our server. Otherwise, don't have to be.

40 - 55+ online every night (gmt+8:00) is quite a decent solid number of active members per night.
our guild (CCTV) are around that number but not everyone is actively representing though since being a casual guild we do not force members to represent 100% all the time.

however, we are mostly malaysian members though with some singaporeans, and among some others.

I see, I find semi-rep difficult to build a community. Many who jump here and there are mainly jumping for guild events (mostly WvW), not there to interact with people and make friends. Social elements require long hours of interaction to create and semi-rep rule won't help that. Semi-rep give people the flexibility to jump to different guilds, these people can claim to "know" many people but at the same time, they don't really know anyone. One single guild already have many people, one person can also never be at the two different places at the same time.

It is very much like the I use you, you use me kind of relationship. At least, that's what I feel from the semi-rep WvW guild. "All I want is to lead people" "All I want is a commander to lead me" "I want to be in a WvW squad"

I want [TIME] to become a guild where people will call it their online family and it is going pretty well. Some new players who joined the guild say [TIME] is different from the guilds they had joined, [TIME] has a different feel and because of that, pure WvWer don't fit into the guild. Yep, we are looking for PvXer~.

We are pretty international, we have people from singapore, malaysia, indonesia, taiwan, hong kong, japan, australia united states, canada, some from europe. Most people online during GMT +8 are mostly well, the asians.

PS: you guys have good engineers in PvP

indeed. fortunately, for us, we have a group of core guild members that sticks with us and represent us often enough.

social interaction among members happens kinda automatically if the new members are willing to interact with one another proactively. for example, those who only comes for weekly guild missions will less likely interact with us, while those who represent us often, talks in the guild chat will be more likely to be noticed and remembered by us.

yup. pretty much this. for example, our guild members are mainly core CCTV members, but sometimes when they wish to WvW, they will rep their respective WvW guilds when they are WvW-ing. otherwise they will rep us for social-ing, dungeon-ing etc.

good to hear that! aye, we [CCTV] are a PvX guild as well, just very casual and not forcing members to rep us 100% the time.

our motto is, if they want to rep us, they will rep us willingly and be part of the family by themselves.

We used to be high-rep, basically, expecting members to treat the guild as the main and rep it most of the time. a few reputable WvW guilds in CD (of early days) followed our rep standard, I guess we all don't like the idea of jumping guilds and not treating the guilds in the "right" way. Ever since we started to expand our NA population, we go full rep due to limited space.

We have openings for condition / tank / healer roles, also openings for raid leaders so we can form new teams, currently we have two raid teams.

We WvW hard in Henge of Denravi, always fighting outman situations and looking for regular individuals willing to gear up to one of the latest yet expensive guild builds. We also doing this so that we will one day participate in GvG once we have gotten our core numbers up, we know some guilds borrow members but for us, we want a core team.

You guys not feeling the lag lately in NA? I get more lag in NA then I do in EU. They've been moving servers to amazonaws since just before pof launched but I think the majority of the players are starting to feel the shift atm. Using unifi 50 from KK and the lag spikes are brutal up to 4k. Avg pings are gone case also but my normal should be 230-280ms. When they first shifted about a day before pof launch I was getting really smooth good pings, but after the first week it went to hell, and then there was a ddos as well. Now it's just a combination of wintersday/holiday/etc. Can't wait to get smooth ping again. Luckily I only wvw, there's no way to pvp like this. Pve is still doable.

have u try using VPN? I haven play for a like month, not sure how bad is it now. But had to use VPN
