Hey guys, I'm going to buy my first laptop so I need some suggestions.

1. Preferred Brand: Any
2. Budget: Below 2k (If there are good choices I would increase my budget)
3. Usage: Assignments (business student), play games like the Sims 3(but rarely play unless I have much free time), light video editing
4. Preferred laptop/screen size: 14"
5. light and portable, nice battery life
