Appreciate the suggestions. I've gone through some of the Lenovos models and they are pretty amazing (in terms of specs:price ratio) especially the Z500 & Y400 models. But do they heat up badly? Do I have to worry about their temperatures?

for Y400, you dont have to worry much about the temperatures, as the thickness of the laptop itself helps the ventilation. however, the Z500 is an exception. it is not suitable for long hours gaming, as the thinness traps heat easily.

Thanks this is really helpful. I am "almost" made up my mind to buy the Y400 W8 one. Hehe. Still looking for other options though.
