what kind of long term usage is it?if you are talking about gaming and heavy use, it is definitely good.
if you are talking about idling, it can even handle long hours idling.

I am looking for a lightweight laptop,
budget 3k~4k having a green, decent battery life and no heat issue. Something like Mac Air but minus the iOS as might need windows to run some research application. I am actually buying in the UK, so have to expect the price to +25% due to VAT reason. |

QUOTE(PF T.J. @ Jul 15 2013, 08:32 PM) You can just buy these and bring over there as well I was thinking to buy the newer Intel Haswell Processor, so far offering in UK is only the MSI, the Sony (Tablet and VAIO Pro) or Macbook Air.13" Toshiba Portégé Z930-2035, i5-3337U + Intel HD4000 + 128GB SSD@RM3799[1.12kg], W8, 6GB, 3 years warranty (1st year on-site) 14" Toshiba Tecra-R940-2014, i5-3210M + Intel HD4000@RM3499[2.15kg], W7P/W8P, 4GB, 640GB (7200rpm), 3 years international (local onsite) warranty, Microsoft Office HOme & Business 2013; color:black Not sure if I should go for the Macbook as I am using one for myself currently (this is mean for my girlfriend). She would need to install some applications which is only supported by windows. |
