hi guys, just want to share some exp on BL

last mth i bought GG from a BL seller who have 0 rating, price is good, around $550+$60 shipping, the seller responded to me and send me pic while i made request, however after i made payment the seller gone disappear, i file a dispute to paypal and seller never shown up for any response, so end up I able to claim back my money, quite worry seller have insufficient fund for me to recover though, fortunately this morning i checked my credit card account the money has been credited to me

Wow that's dangerous, luckily you managed to get back your funds.

Normally i dont buy from sellers with 2 digits rating from BL.
With certain exception of course, like for example this seller with 58 rating but all good feedback then no problem.

i always believe if the deal is too good to be true, it always is....

anyway, glad u got your money back. Thats the beauty of paying with paypal.

because i'm 1st time using BL that time, i tot BL will be responsible for the trading sad.gif really lucky can get back the money as i have read many ppl cant claim back as seller has insufficient money in their account

then u found your GG already? blink.gif

yes, end up buying from local seller in jb

QUOTE(hades4eve @ Jul 17 2013, 11:50 AM)
I kena one is a seller with + feedbacks, but the count is quite less. After going through his list, I found that those feedback is like those from feedback 0 buyers. Therefore, even it is a seller with feedbacks, be mindful they may also a conman behind the screen.

it make me worry for few weeks lo, as i sked i cant get my money back sweat.gif

Don't worry if you using paypal  thumbup.gif because you are covered by Paypal. As if you were using Direct Bank Transfer, I'm sure it is difficult to get refund as you need to go do police report, then go to bank and all those hassle tasks  sweat.gif . Therefore, always pay using Paypal - Your trusted payment gateway.  nod.gif

QUOTE(Lego_Jason @ Jul 17 2013, 04:32 PM)
Yeah it is quite safe with PayPal, downside is you have to pay higher Forex rates... sad.gif I just paid for another lot of my toys and when I worked backwards effectively the Ringgit-Euro exchange rate I paid was 4.36!!! cry.gif

Just have to think of it as insurance cost... If not very hard to swallow... rclxub.gif

With bank transfer I doubt you will have great success in recovering your money. First of all the bank will not be responsible, and then the police report is not going to frighten overseas crooks. (as if Interpol is going to look into your case...)
*
if seller intend to cheat they can withdraw all money from their account can cancel all source of fund right? I read that some buyer fail to recover or only recover partially due to the seller inssuficient fund

Good morning/afternoon taikuns! biggrin.gif

Very interesting feedback on Legoland MY, especially from capm and paanjang's review is very professional!  rclxms.gif

Just to add my 2 bricks worth on visiting Legoland:
- theme park is really meant for families with kids, ideally they are aged 6-12 to be able to enjoy the bigger roller-coaster rides which have minimum height restrictions. But they rides are not big thrills for teenager and young adults.
- essentials to bring to the park are lots of water/drinks, some snacks and unbrellas (mainly for the ladies and kids to protect against the sun and/or rain). If going with family/kids, I usually bring my run-down kids stroller to store all the essentials mentioned above and also any brick goodies you buy from the shops. The park is huge and be prepared to do a lot of walking.
- go during the middle of the week to avoid long queues of ard 45-60 mins per ride or longer which is usual during weekends. This is very important if you want to go on most of the rides and still have time to browse in the shops.
- I usually eat outside the park at the nearby mall - KFC, Burger King, Old Town, etc.

Does anyone know if the giant Death Star display is out already? Was in the news some time back but havent read any updates since. Also heard that they are selling bags of bricks to build minions at the PAB section, prices range from RM5x-8xx. Ouch!  whistling.gif

I was wondering if anyone here is interested in car-pooling for a day trip to LLM from PJ/KL. Estimate if 3-4 ppl in a car we could share petrol and toll (and speeding ticket  laugh.gif ) costs which would be less than rm100 per person. Need someone with a truck or MPV if taikuns want to haul back lotsa bricks!  thumbup.gif
