no source to get box, so need to go picit.  sad.gif

my guess, recently a lot of independent importer(s)/CS bringing in boxes to counter the ALJ's retail price rm12.90 per piece (where it used to be rm9.90 way back ago) :-)

Really? I didn't know they used to cost only RM9.90... ohmy.gif I bought my series 1 at over RM25 per piece...
*
No comment on series 1 as i started hunting with series 2 onwards :-)

*Bought my series 1 (by then in set of rm220) around 13.75 at avg each. For Series 2, TRU used to sell them at rm12.90 each, then revising to rm9.90 when series 3 being introduce to the mass.

Good morning/afternoon taikuns! biggrin.gif

Very interesting feedback on Legoland MY, especially from capm and paanjang's review is very professional!  rclxms.gif

Just to add my 2 bricks worth on visiting Legoland:
- theme park is really meant for families with kids, ideally they are aged 6-12 to be able to enjoy the bigger roller-coaster rides which have minimum height restrictions. But they rides are not big thrills for teenager and young adults.
- essentials to bring to the park are lots of water/drinks, some snacks and unbrellas (mainly for the ladies and kids to protect against the sun and/or rain). If going with family/kids, I usually bring my run-down kids stroller to store all the essentials mentioned above and also any brick goodies you buy from the shops. The park is huge and be prepared to do a lot of walking.
- go during the middle of the week to avoid long queues of ard 45-60 mins per ride or longer which is usual during weekends. This is very important if you want to go on most of the rides and still have time to browse in the shops.
- I usually eat outside the park at the nearby mall - KFC, Burger King, Old Town, etc.

Does anyone know if the giant Death Star display is out already? Was in the news some time back but havent read any updates since. Also heard that they are selling bags of bricks to build minions at the PAB section, prices range from RM5x-8xx. Ouch!  whistling.gif

I was wondering if anyone here is interested in car-pooling for a day trip to LLM from PJ/KL. Estimate if 3-4 ppl in a car we could share petrol and toll (and speeding ticket  laugh.gif ) costs which would be less than rm100 per person. Need someone with a truck or MPV if taikuns want to haul back lotsa bricks!  thumbup.gif

Do they have lots of parts on sale for pick a brick?
