Good morning. TGIF! Need to stay away from taikun gatherings this weekend. Massive traffic jams expected in Amcorp and all over Klang Valley where taikuns meet to collect CS sets. Ground tremors and aftershocks are a possibility. Congrats to all taikuns who are bringing home more lego this weekend!

QUOTE(ryucando @ Jul 12 2013, 09:18 AM) Sir Alby's sales is like one of those (hello Kitty Mc D) where u need to stay up all night and queue for hours. Wonder how crazy the demand will be if lego got the license to release Hello Kitty and Minion sets and minifigures. You blink and you'd missed it. OT: Yesterday saw an amazing scene at McDonalds - long queues do grown-ups buying multiple sets of Happy Meals and not a single child in sight. Why? For the minion toy we need help. |

QUOTE(Mr. Alby @ Jul 12 2013, 08:14 AM) i cant wait to pass all the sets this weekend so that I can start bricking my DS. Why don't you give away all the minifigures in DS set and then it's value will drop below rm1k... Its my most expensive set to date ( its not something that I proud off..usually my limit is 1K... |

Met with Sir Alby this morning. Weather was very calm and sunny, no earthquake cos only 1 big taikun there.
Anyway, thanks for helping fill a big gap in my super hero collection. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

Good morning all! What poison / new hauls awaits us this week?
Met a few of you over the past week. It was nice to put faces to your nicks and avatars here. Had a nice 2-hour chat with an expert MOC'er. Envy some of your photography skills, wish I had the skills and time. Keep on spamming. Here's what my kids MOC'ed recently, something for wifey... now I got to get her a real one! » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

QUOTE(juschin @ Jul 13 2013, 08:50 PM) Thanks to faish888 for the deals yesterday. You're welcome juschin. Yes, every little bit of $$$ helps. Unfortunately I spend too much on Lego as I have very little resistance to plastic bricks. I've consulted many experts like Mattel, Hasbro, Takara, Hot Toys, and there's no cure for me. No wonder cannot give me more discount lah, today got mega-haul with Mr.Alby!! |

QUOTE(mryellow19 @ Jul 13 2013, 01:51 PM) Daily bugle set in the pix. Catwoman anyone got extra? I think you got the one I wanted from bro seydee. QUOTE(capm @ Jul 13 2013, 02:14 PM) Yes hard to import this set as it's a store exclusive. Only USD40 but local prices are astronomical, >rm250 I think. QUOTE(vey99 @ Jul 13 2013, 02:23 PM) 7888 is nice set but I missed it and not going to chase a retired set. Too lazy to bricklink so will have to settle for the tumbler from set 76001. QUOTE(Lego_Jason @ Jul 13 2013, 03:53 PM) Can. I was hoping to poison you when I posted the pix. You need super heroes to protect your modular city from the villains that have escaped from Arkham. Re-create Spiderman and Doc Oct's famous battle on your passenger train. Possibilities are endless.... Wah! Mouth watering collection!! Nope, still no luck... Wow, you must have >1k of s10 minifigs? You deserve to find Mr Gold just for your perseverance! |

QUOTE(Lego_Jason @ Jul 16 2013, 02:50 PM) Good afternoon fellow AFOLs! Great strategy in planting the seeds of Lego love. When these kids grow up and have kids of their own, they'll remember uncle Lego_Jason and visit his stall in Amcorp. Yesterday gave away some of my extra CMF Series 10 to my daughter's classmates. I hope I managed to poisoned those 5yrs old into Lego... Anyway, am thinking of of finally putting thoughts into action and display my minifigs. Did some reading and it seems the IKEA Ribba frame will be an easy option with minimal DIY works involved... Does anyone know which Ribba frame size will fit all 16 minifgs (mounted on their 3x4 display plate) in a row? |
