When you own the Lego set and it goes EOL, you may earn from the appreciated value.

When a Lego set you wanted and it already EOL, then you will digging your wallet to pay for the high price for the set because the value is appreciated.

Haha... Ya.. I'm a typical Comp Sci professional.. sure will have cables lying around.

No la, not offended actually I rather find it funny when someone can spot that

Just focus on the theme that you wanted.. for example, I didn't watch SW episode 2 and 3, so I only the Palpatine's shuttle. That's all I have Furthermore, I only collect some iconic set in SW..

As for POTC, I tried to complete it but some set is rather hard to find in Msia. Since I almost completed my preferred SW collections and I have to wait till year end only have Winter Village set.. so now I'm looking for those vintage set that I missed during childhood...

On the same time, I'm planning for my real brick house also

Furthermore, I'm just a pure collector, collect only, no selling
