QUOTE(mafioso @ Jul 14 2013, 10:45 AM) reverted back to stock rom with root/dual recovery and battery life came back.. Really? I have no such issues with phone drain. In fact, I'm getting better time than with the stock rom.apparently using monxdified made my phone drain the battery faster than usual.. dunno why :S once i go back stock, everything's good again.. |

STAMINA mode has saved me many times. When I'm at 2-5% in desperate moments, I just shut off the screen and I know when I put it on again it'll be at 2-5% or whatever. No issues whatsoever! |

Mine works, press the + and that'll allow you to add to the lock screen. I use dashclock, let's me do quite a bit of customising. |

I have no issues with the battery life and performance. Smooth as silk and the battery is better than stock for me. Bugs? So far with the camera only. |

QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Jul 17 2013, 09:39 AM) As refnulf mention, factory reset from settings after flashing the ROM. No need full wipe before flashing. I'll have to say I'm not impressed with the Honami port camera. It's not as good as stock, at least that's what I feel. Sometimes it looks okay, sometimes it looks worse, it doesn't do night shots well though. Stock didn't do that well either.I though you already run honami port, honami port also need complete factory reset. In earlier 01-01 version I get badly battery leak, but it is stable since 01-02 version for me. If you still face it, give it few days cycle on charging, it will return back to normal. Performance is outstanding, I can said it is far smoother than stock 4.2.2, even no lagging issue at Album. Camera is running fine except it will FC if you change your focus mode at Manual mode. The focus mode is fixed at touch focus and no others mode is working. They is no SCN mode for camera in Honami port, SCN only appear at video mode. Which means they is no way to manually pick night portrait mode. Image quality is ok, still better than .434 but I can't said it is better than latest .423, but it running fine. Actually I am not impress with Honami latest leak information yesterday, it is far wider than Z which mean much bigger bezel, which not in my liking, also much taller than Z. The camera sensor is small, nothing special here then, I believe it just a Mega Pixel upgrade but not really impact a lot in image quality. Also it is thicker than Z as well at 8.3mm without water proof but only water resistance IP57. If leak information is true, I rather buy Xperia Z Ultra, at least it look solid cool slim 6.5mm and waterproof IP58 + cool multi touch material input capability. --------------------------------------------------------------------- I on all time Data and only on Wi-Fi when needed. And for Honami, yes. If the leaks are true, then I'm not going to bother with it. I don't want something bigger, and I thought the water resistance was IP58? Why would it only be IP57? |

QUOTE(mafioso @ Jul 18 2013, 10:25 PM) hey Andrewtst (or anyone), i have a question Thanks for the info man.» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « ehhhhh. its okay.. deodexing my stock rom now http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2267184 (stock .423 CWM zip file is there) will report back if it works! the deodex zip works!! if you want maybe you can add it to the OP for people who wants to deodex their stock .423 -> no data will be affected (wont wipe).. but its advisable to do a nandroid just in case -> all previous mods done on odexed files will be gone.. gotta re-mod |
