Hello guys, could someone explain to me briefly bout these brothers of Z,Zr and Zl?

Based on my research Zl is the cheapest ones followed by Zr and Z. Z is kinda similar to Zr but better while Zl has nothing in common based on the back cover and environmental resistances.

If i'd like to purchase one phone out of these three, which one would u recommend? I don't really mind with the design and resistances since i'm just a casual user. Would Zl fits my needs? It just lacks with the sleek back mirror-like cover and resistances capability right? Thanks in advance.

just check some videos for Z1. The startup for camera apps really faster than ours, like 0.5-1sec only. Further the camera app is awesome cool with those features and effects, focus is extreme fast too. Hopefully the update will come to Z soon. =w=

hmm.. if only among these 3 phones, yes, temporary even RRP for ZL is the cheapest now.. rm1599. market u can easily found rm1400-1499, got some seller sell in rm1368,1378.. which i think is a very best deal for this phone compare with other..

ZL is almost identical to Z, same hardware. Diff display panel, brighter display.. No water/dust resistant but got IR blaster to be a remote control.

ZR is almost identical to Z too with same hardware, but 720p screen resolution (better battery life), smaller internal memory with 8gb (5.2gb user accesible) - where Z/ZL got 16gb (11gb+ user accesible). Water/dust resistant. VGA front camera only..

For casual, i assumed as daily use only.. ZL is the best deal if u dont mind about resistance.. 2gb ram with 1.8gb user access, im heavy on social messaging and surfing people only, sometimes gaming.. i had no problem on this phone.. after installed and turned on all apps like viber, wechat,whatsapp, line, messenger, fb, dictionary apps and etc, totally consume me 1gb ram which left 700~800MB free ram.. even hard gaming like asphalt 8, dead trigger, real racing also no problem..

no lag noticeable in ZL, (should be same as in ZR, Z). only stock launcher may lag sometimes. installed new beta xperia launcher can solved this.

not sure whether our Z/ZL can receive update like Z1. probably wont have i think.. but i hope at least can get the same launcher like ZU/Z1 and better performance..

One is APQ8064 1.5GHz and the other one is Snapdragon 800 2.2GHz

speaker you mean internal speaker which you used to make calls or the speaker which you used for music? i noticed ZL has the same problem also right?

speaker for Z is lower than ZL.. ZL internal speaker just normal.. speaker confirm louder than Z.

u can adjust for the call setting..

I have read more complaints about Z than ZL on this forum, so I am ready to pull the plug on ZL, but my friend who's a mobile phone seller has ZL with Android 4.1.2, is this old stock?

i think it's just the old firmware, i believe the new update has been rolled out by now...

Latest is 4.2.2 and firmware last 3 number is. 244fw.

My Z now when hearing or answer call the top speaker got buzzing or slightly like static sound.. Anyone got problem like this?

guys, in terms of battery for daily usage, which one is the best between ZL, Z and optimus g(any user switch from optimus g to ZL) ?

In terms of Spec both are same except the Battery Capacity ZL has higher than Optimus G. I would rather prefer on XZL then Optimus G because the Sony has good reputation on Software Update compare to LG device..plus The XZL camera are no match with Optimus G ( Camera is really for Optimus G)
