KUALA LUMPUR (July 2): The Transport Ministry wants budget airline AirAsia to review its female flight attendants dress code.
In a written reply, the ministry said it will inform the low cost airline to reassess their uniforms to better "reflect the Malaysian culture".

Datuk Ikmal Hisham feels the female flight attendants are too sexy to handle.
Datuk Ikmal Hisham Abdul Aziz (BN-Tanah Merah) opined that the uniform used by Airasia's flight attendants were "sexy" and "did not reflect the national identity".
The MP asked if dress code guidelines are imposed on airlines when licenses are issued.
"Airlines have to abide by the safety standards, among others, and comply with emergency evacuation in the allotted time, as set by the Civil Aviation Department and the International Civil Aviation Organisation.
"Airlines including AirAsia is free to choose their uniform as long as it complies with the criteria set by the authorities," said Transport Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein.
