selfishness is not valid, but validity has nothing to do with the reality

one can not be totally un-selfish, or one would end up dead

case in point :

on a boat there are 3 people

you

your mom

and a stranger

suddenly the boat starts sinking

and you can only save one person (other than yourself)

let us be truthful now ...

will you save your mom or that stranger ?
