Ah...unlucky lor. Depends on what SC you go to also and which SA service you, but you are correct sometimes you need to assert your rights otherwise they will just take you for a ride. Several times I went to "service" or replace the drumbrakes they also FOC top up brake fluid for me.

There was a foreman at the Sri Petaling SC who was quite friendly with me, after he fix the brakes and test drive with me, he complain my handbrake too loose so he sendiri drive my car back into the workshop and tighten it for me, FOC of course. In the meantime, the other foremen in the SC everytime talk to me just endlessly complain about Proton

On the other hand, I complain handbrake loose to Ford SA, he just tell me "it's normal"
