I myself have yet to be home to receive my package from DVDBoxoffice for my US GoW(which is already at home waiting), and waiting for bro Merdeka's happy-hapy-joy-joy bundle from down under. It's gonna get hectic tonight!

Street price is RM165, and they are NTSC/J. Straight up normal plain vanilla version though, but as long as you get to frag (and be fragged) tonight, who cares!

Cant play while at work, so no hurry to play anyway. Tonight, now that's a different story.

Back to the game, kill that rampaging bull of a Berserker, HoD style! Almost brings back the memories of killing troops in Command & Conquer! Or think "Goldeneye/ Die Another Day" but at a smaller scale, i hope im being vague enough not to spoil what "Hammer of Dawn" is.

Touche, Mobius. Im currently perfecting the art of running and diving around without sticking to the wall technique , comes in handy when 4 vs 1 bullying sessions happens.

All in all, very entertaining match. I was in awe of how the game moves along nicely with all those intensely beautiful textures and details in it, without a hint of slowdown at all. Im very impressed! In fact half the time i was checking out the details in the stages, how "shiny" the water looks like, how nice the fuel depot stage looks like, how decrepit the mansion looks like, and got myself calling for "Medic!" in the process, after getting peppered with bullets.

But...but...but....the sky is gorgeous, i feel like crying looking at it!

Need to crank things up a bit, Mav3tan already Act 3 in the solo game.

Act 4 already, back to urban setting. Lets just say the Resonator works in not its intended means. First encounter with the Nemacyst too.

Careful with the Corpser at the end of Act 3 though, pay attention to the Y button when needed pressing.

every once in awhile, the Corpser will play 'peekaboo' with its claws, shoot its soft underbelly. Then when it rears its head up reeling from the pain, shoot its neck. It will then shuffle backwards. Do this until it moves back onto a platform, then shooT the clamps that secures it to the ground. Bye bye Corpser.

Loaded up GoW and my X button onscreen starts to pulsate. Pressed it for Downloadaale Content, and whaddayaknow? New content! One that caught my eyes are the new Theme and Gamerpic with these texts : "One day only! Download the Exclusive Gears of War ' I played on Emergence Day' Theme/Gamerpic"

Finished the game on Casual, now attempting Insane.

Raam can be killed by throwing grenades to him, scattering his Kryll shield, then pepper him with bullets. Once he come closer, run around him but stay on lighted areas otherwise you're Kryll food. Head to the turret/troika at the place where he first emerge, and plug him with bullets. The End.

When he's covered by Krylls, no amount of weapons, big or small can harm him, save for the grenade to scatter and perhaps Hammer of Dawn. So get scooting and run for your life but stay on lighted areas. The Krylls hate light. RUN , dont walk/cover.

Great teamwork fro my fellow Gears just now!Even made me comfortable using sniper rifle at the stage i hated most just now.
