Evic is a good choice. I have GV PrivateV2, evic, vamo, vapage2.0 and bagua.

Evic usually gives good ohm reading, if the connectors are a bit dirty then yes the reading will go haywire. I vape daily using the evic with a protank 2.

For the mech mod I use ebaron dripper.

Hope this clears a bit on the evic.
