Just use a small brush to brush and wipe off the black tar on the coil until you can see the metal colour on the coil again... then it is good as new!
Yeap, fruit flavoured juices tend to build up on the coil |

QUOTE(alexlimco @ Sep 24 2013, 04:19 PM) No prob! Lol, treasure hunting!QUOTE(alexlimco @ Sep 24 2013, 04:47 PM) I'm using an IGO-W with a single coil. My friends told me that dry burning might work. But it guzzles up battery right? Don't need to worry about dry-burning. It shouldn't have any effect on the battery. I forgot to mention after cleaning the coil, dry burn it 1st if you don't use cotton. Better results that way. Mine got a thin layer of cotton for improved wicking so can't dry-burn |

Anyone here got tips on how to make the genesis tank not leaking and at the same time can have the tank regulate the air pressure?
If I leave a small hole open, the tank pressure can regulate and can wick nicely If I close off the holes, the tank doesn't leak but the wick won't be saturated, ugh |

QUOTE(alexlimco @ Sep 26 2013, 11:48 AM) One question friends. I just received a sample bottle of Aurora from Monkeyvapes and it smells heavily of lime and citrus. I'm scared that if I put it in the macrolon tank that came with the Russian 91, it will crack as I have heard of this happening with some juices. So far lime and lemon didn't corrode my tank... instead the pineapple one totally killed the tank! Better try on a spare tank or smthing 1st.Is it true that juices with heavy lime or citrus concentration will crack the polycarbonate tank? |

QUOTE(alexlimco @ Sep 26 2013, 02:03 PM) Don't have time to sit down to boil it and set it up yet. Maybe this weekend. Will give a small review later on when I'm done. Problem is I cannot attach pictures here. You have to use this: ImageshackThis post has been edited by vccy118: Sep 26 2013, 02:21 PM |

Also... feedback on using citric acid: it causes the coil to gunk up very fast! Now after I added citric acid to my recipe, I need to remove the wick and do a dry burn every other day... only takes like 5 minutes but still a lot more troublesome

vg can get easily from bakery store. I just got a litre for RM13.30. PG UPS grade hard to come by... only a handful of pharmacies have those.

QUOTE(kingnoss @ Sep 26 2013, 07:44 PM) The bakery ones are normally called "Food Grade", which contains some contaminants which is harmless when eaten, but harmful when inhaled as our lungs are much more sensitive than our stomachs. UPS grade on the other hand, is of high purity, thus is safe to be inhaled. Anyways try to get UPS grade, the price don't differ a lot from food grade. |
