QUOTE(arremie @ Sep 11 2013, 07:28 PM) this works on fixing leak on protank/protank2/evod. a friend tried and it works on all evod and protank he has. Actually I saw someone suggesting this solution in the e-cig forum I think. Either putting it upside down or putting two silicone cap will solve the problem. Usually if use thicker juice hard to get flooding for me. Also I put ekowool 3mm which is actually around 4mm in size coz its much ticker than the normal 3mm wicks. Those do help with the leaks for me...http://godofsteam.wordpress.com/2013/07/12...urgling-issues/ Just a matter of trial & error la to get the best setup for those who are using it. Vaping involves lots of trial & error anyways based on my experience so far haha |

When tasting eliquid at vape store, how do you guys usually clean your drip tanks before dripping another flavor?
- Do you vape till dry & do a dry burn? - Torch the tank & let the wicks go on fire till dry out? - Vape till dry & just mix another flavor? or got any other method more suitable? haha |

QUOTE(arremie @ Sep 11 2013, 09:52 PM) Ini mana bolehhhh...like jade tiger if I smell it smells like mango but when you vape you get coconut taste as base flavour instead + a mixture of other fruits. In the description no mango at all, so some liquid the smell & taste is totally different.Usually I vape till almost dry & drip another flavor, then vape till dry & drip again the same flavor to really taste it properly. Wondering which is the best way to do it without contaminating the flavours |

QUOTE(vccy118 @ Sep 15 2013, 02:22 PM) Depends on your skill...for me I always suck in building with flat wire. So hard & always get hotspot. In fact sold off my aga-t2 due to time consuming when building it. Always need to deal with hotspot so just going to stick with clearomizer & drip tank.If you think you can do flat wire then go for it, I prefer to stick with normal wire haha. Next going to experiment with micro coil & cotton balls... |

QUOTE(vccy118 @ Sep 15 2013, 10:05 PM) good thing about micro coil is you get better vapor production, better throat hit & better flavour. Its easier to set up because chances of hotspot is almost 0 unless u fark up the coils when inserting the wick or didnt straighten the wire properly during recoil. Pair it with cotton will get the best coil to wick contact thus giving you good vapor. You can use normal silica wick too but need to test around which drill bit size to use. I usually use 3.5mm for ekowool. Good thing about cotton is that you get clean flavour but not sure about this la since I never try before cotton but cant dry burn la so testing flavour in shop will be a problem & also if your friends like to borrow your e-cig then they might use it when the wick is dry so might burn it. Nice thing is you can remove the cotton & put in new 1 straight away haha. So far this is what I been reading or hearing about micro coil + cotton la. Seems like a lot of advantages to go for plus its organic so the issue about silica is harmful to our lungs can put to the end. |

QUOTE(zahri @ Sep 16 2013, 04:14 AM) i started of mine with a cartomizer. Rip trippers did use it on protank. Looks awesome...got my self an atomizer and now trying to learn how to re coil the atomizer. i cant keep on asking my friend for help each time i need to recoil. plus, u have to have the right EQ to recoil. although the idea of using cotton balls is nice. has anyone tried it on an atomizer ? |

QUOTE(bakry @ Sep 16 2013, 02:05 PM) I use cotton balls for my dripper. Ok la. Not bad. Unfortunately, can't dry burn when want to change flavor. Kena tukar From where u get your organic cotton balls? I tried searching everywhere but all they sell is processed cotton balls QUOTE(vccy118 @ Sep 18 2013, 03:56 PM) huh... microcoil super hard to do! You are using 32 gauge kanthal right? Micro coil is meant for 28 gauge la..anyone got any pointers? Did exactly as shown in various youtube videos, but tak jadi EDIT: Figured it out... used 2mm drill bit to coil end up get 5 ohm... down to 1.5mm drill bit, got 2.2 ohm... not perfect but already better than normal coils! QUOTE(arremie @ Sep 18 2013, 07:40 PM) i use 2.5mm drill bit with 30awg wire. 10 wraps gv 1.5 ohm and then slowly thread in 3mm ekowool into the hole. fits perfectly without any gaps and not choking the wick. very good throat hit with 12mg liquid. might need to cut down to 9 or 6mg. I use 3.5mm drill bit with ekowool double...been trying a lot of setup this week and this is the best so far without the need to use cotton as a wick. |

QUOTE(vccy118 @ Sep 18 2013, 09:38 PM) Organic cotton balls? 100% cotton is good enuf. Get the sterilized cotton swabs balls from pharmacy, you don't even need to boil and dry it, straight can use Sure ah? Coz I read online some people say sterilized cotton need to boil to remove the bleach they used in processing it. Thats why looking for organic Guardian got sell, RM2.90 for 10 balls Yeap, 32 AWG. I seen before they use 32 AWG for genesis type tanks, that's why I went with it. Btw, I recoiled, 10 wraps 32 AWG 1.5m diameter... 1.8 ohms, damn chun now! Is it just me... or genesis tanks drain juice really fast! or was it because of micro? |
