Any users of Joyetech Evic here? Like some reviews before I go get it.

if ure a casual vaper, its a good mod to own. but if ure a chain vaper, likes to recoil ur tanks to low ohms, its best to look for other mods.

pro's - excellent firing with both vv and vw options. great for casual vapers who vape just a few puffs per session
con's - heats up quickly especially with low resistance tanks. few puffs and the heat warning sign comes up. a big no for chain vapers as the control head will be easily damaged

Hi guys, since my cheap ecig is broken, I'm considering to get myself a better one.

which do you suggest?

http://www.bigvapors.com/1/post/2013/06/ec...c-ecig-mod.html

I'm don't really have the knowledge about ecig actually.

What's mechanical? What's the difference between bigger voltage compared with lower?

Kindly enlighten.. ~~

Thank You

just check the 510 connector material 1st. if i'm not mistaken both m16 and private v2 clones are using aluminium. the material is quite soft so it'll be easier to be loose in the future. try n look for ss material. just the 510 connector part.

oh.. so will you suggest me getting a mech? Since I'm a beginner and I'm afraid that I might do something and make it explode. LOL

if u use a normal battery, average resistance tanks without stacking batteries, ure safe. smile.gif

Average resistance as in which level?

0.8 above should be fine. 1 ohm n above to be safe. the most important thing is not to stack ur batts. lol

I find that at 0.9-1.1 ohms is the sweet spot for me.  hmm.gif

igo w has 3 poles kan? not sure about the 02 error because i never used a vamo b4 but i think it should still be ok if the resistance is within that range. not sure about vamo's board but if the resistance is within that range on an evic and u use it constantly, sure evic board will kaput tongue.gif

wanna ask, u oll using low ohm or subohm, the mod will heat up very fast right

previously i using 2.5ohm.. then i changed to 1.6ohm.. the mod heat up faster compare 2.5ohm.. and the juice oso burn up faster

how  u oll overcome these heat up and juice burn faster issue?
*
boss apa itu subohm liao i kenot brain rclxub.gif

but if ure using mech mods, normal la. V=IR. lower resistance with constant voltage produces higher wattage which results in more heat emission. if ur using vv or vw mods u can always tune down the voltage to reduce the heat.

if u want to overcome the heat on mech mods, coil ur tank on higher resistance. or use weak batt or use kick on the mod would also reduce the heat.

Anyways, anyone here DIY their own liquid? Want to steal some recipes from you guys, hahahaha

My favourite and the only one I vape now, I call it Tangy Strawberry Lemon Zinger.

Ingredients:
1. 75% VG (No PG since I am sensitive to it)
2. 4% Lemon Flavouring (Or lower % also can... the lemon flavour very strong!)
3. 15% Strawberry Flavouring
4. 6% Orange Flavouring
5. 5 drops/10ml of liquefied Stevia sugar (Can buy the Equal Stevia sackets and dilute in PG or any UPS grade alcohol or pure VG)

All flavouring I use star brand. So far works very well for me.
*
not sure about the percentage of my mix but thats the same mix of flavour that produces my sirap limau flavour sweat.gif

anyone know where to find malic acid?i read in ECF that malic acid is used to make juices taste sour biggrin.gif

if ure using mech mods, its easier to dryburn unlike using mods with boards to control voltage/wattage. it will definitely drain ur battery. usually i dryburn my tanks when my battery is running low laugh.gif

u can also torch it to start burning the silica rope. once the rope is burning, stop torching and press the trigger to dryburn it faster. torch all the access carbons left on the wick and it will be white like a new wick tongue.gif

as a newbie, i do understand why ppl would recommend mech mods instead of vv mods. usually ppl sell ego type mods to new vapers but there are a few limitations on using ego type mods

- batteries are hard to change.
- cutoff time for circuit protection
- plain ego models cant check coil resistance

the only problem that mech mods cant offer is to check coil resistance. mech mods are more durable than ego type mods and can definitely last longer. the usage is almost the same with ego mods, screw in ur tank, get ur juice on n vape away.

to me its better than asking them to straight away use a vv mod which may confuse them and goes back to analogs.

how you guys clear the gunk on 18 loop coil? does it hard to do it?

LOL that is why i dont see the point of microcoils. to me it just taste the same. well that's just me but currently i'm not looking for anything else in my vapes apart from using a stable setup with maintenance items (wicks wires and juice) available tongue.gif
