Wow, so many clones out nowadays...

QUOTE(zahri @ Sep 16 2013, 05:35 PM) I don't think that's the same. Lighter fire is not as hot, or as blue as torch. Yellow flame will cause carbon to build up very very fast, thus the black stuff that's left behind.Anyone can tell me which one is better? So many clones dunno which one to grab. 1. Atom Clone 2. Chi Yu Clone 3. King Clone 4. Ba Gua Clone 5. Nemesis Clone 6. Etc This post has been edited by vccy118: Sep 16 2013, 06:46 PM |

huh... microcoil super hard to do!
anyone got any pointers? Did exactly as shown in various youtube videos, but tak jadi EDIT: Figured it out... used 2mm drill bit to coil end up get 5 ohm... down to 1.5mm drill bit, got 2.2 ohm... not perfect but already better than normal coils! QUOTE(alexlimco @ Sep 18 2013, 05:54 PM) 2.2 ohms? Isn't that a bit high for dripper and mech mods? BTW, where are you able to buy those drill bits at 1.5 and 2 mm? Most hardware shops around my area don't carry such small sizes. yeah, lil high but I am gonna settle for that now... tonnes of vapour, nice flavour and I can feel throat hit eventhou I vape 0mg liquids!Only downside with this 2.2 ohm micro is that the vapour is room temperature, not warm at all. I had trouble finding drill bits that small from big stores. End up I got mine from a small and old hardware shop. The drill bit looks really old as well. They have sized starting from 0.5mm. Also, was finding a jet lighter and end up bought mine for RM4.99 from SuperSave... and it works superb! |

QUOTE(infernoaswen @ Sep 18 2013, 09:05 PM) From where u get your organic cotton balls? I tried searching everywhere but all they sell is processed cotton ballsĀ Organic cotton balls? 100% cotton is good enuf. Get the sterilized cotton swabs balls from pharmacy, you don't even need to boil and dry it, straight can use You are using 32 gauge kanthal right? Micro coil is meant for 28 gauge la.. I use 3.5mm drill bit with ekowool double... Guardian got sell, RM2.90 for 10 balls Yeap, 32 AWG. I seen before they use 32 AWG for genesis type tanks, that's why I went with it. Btw, I recoiled, 10 wraps 32 AWG 1.5m diameter... 1.8 ohms, damn chun now! Is it just me... or genesis tanks drain juice really fast! or was it because of micro? QUOTE(infernoaswen @ Sep 18 2013, 09:58 PM) Sure ah? Coz I read online some people say sterilized cotton need to boil to remove the bleach they used in processing it. Thats why looking for organic Ohhhhh, I get what you mean already! Unbleached cotton! I think Sasa or other makeup specialized shops got. |

I got the cottons but haven't tried it on my ERA tank yet. I just rebored my cobra clone airhole from 1mm to 1.5mm... now omoz 2x vapor and flavour, yum yum~maybe ill go out tonight to buy my kanthal and test out the cotton setup on my forge tank. QUOTE(monaz @ Sep 19 2013, 01:20 PM) I havenāt gone with mine because im newbie with ecigg. But 1 of my postage package from Legadget is with local custom and they said sent to ministry of health for record. Not sure where it is now. Cost me RM300++ damaged. My 2 previous package arrived to me without problem I heard customs ppl smtimes confiscate electronic or battery goods because need to be declared. Althou there's no longer any taxes imposed on those products, still need to be declared. Mostly is the courier's fault for not declaring beforehand. So choosing the correct courier company is very important. When I was at the ministry of health to ask for my parcel, there is a guy wanted to claim his liquid. But the officer said it will be returned to sender. Not allowed any import of e cigarette related item From my friends, they were stopped when they were scanned (GCC airport). Ask few question and depending on your luck, they will allow you to pass. Im trying my luck soonĀ About e-liquid, the basic rule of thumb is: must not contain tobacco substances or nicotine in it. Nicotine and tobacco is considered illegal to be imported into this country. Same as some chemical products. This post has been edited by vccy118: Sep 19 2013, 01:39 PM |

QUOTE(mengfart @ Sep 19 2013, 02:28 PM) I flew once or twice every month... no issues so far. I just put it inside my bag.But I did get questioned once about my ecig when it came on the screen when my bag was scanned at LCCT. The officer asked me to remove the battery and store it separately from my mod. Reason is coz the possibility of the battery heating up in the mod and might lead to an explosion. But honestly most of the time I forget and just fly like that, lol. |

QUOTE(mengfart @ Sep 20 2013, 11:28 AM) Hi guys, since my cheap ecig is broken, I'm considering to get myself a better one. Mechanical means without soldering or wiring, so your battery can last longer. And for mechanical mod, instead of tweaking the voltage on the mod, you tweak the resistance on the coils.which do you suggest? http://www.bigvapors.com/1/post/2013/07/ma...-m16-clone.html http://www.bigvapors.com/1/post/2013/07/va...scopic-mod.html http://www.bigvapors.com/1/post/2013/06/ec...c-ecig-mod.html I'm don't really have the knowledge about ecig actually. What's mechanical? What's the difference between bigger voltage compared with lower? Kindly enlighten.. ~~ Thank You But since you don't have much knowledge... I suggest you get Zmax Smoktech Telescopic Variable Voltage/Wattage Mod. Essentially one of the easiest and longer lasting mod. I know someone selling it for RM70, pm me if you want the details |

QUOTE(mengfart @ Sep 20 2013, 01:11 PM) Lower ohms means more current flowing through the coils, means hotter coils, lolMechanical mods are un-regulated, meaning it is not restricted. It will accept any number of ohms or any voltage batteries. Even if you short your mod, it will still run... then explode. Non-mechanical mods are usually regulated mods, usually can only use 1.3 ohm to 3 ohm coils. So you can't play with extreme coils. But it is safe since got built in surge protector etc. |

QUOTE(mengfart @ Sep 20 2013, 02:04 PM) oh.. so will you suggest me getting a mech? Since I'm a beginner and I'm afraid that I might do something and make it explode. LOL Hm... how do I put this...At 1st I use Ego Twist... then after it spoil, I changed to Variable Voltage/Wattage... Still not satisfied, so sold it off and get my KTS mech mod now. For some reason, mech mod feels so much better lol. And battery last longer. If you are afraid you will do something wrong... just consult youtube Nothing to worry about! But I have to agree with @BestInTheWorld ... At least get a stainless steel clone mod like Chi You, Nemesis, Avenger and Atom. They sell for less than RM100 nowadays. QUOTE(alexlimco @ Sep 20 2013, 03:21 PM) I plan to as soon as I can go find a 2 - 3 mm drill bit or something of similar size. Your resistance wire how much AWG? Old and small hardware stores usually got small drill bits. Remember to request for steel drilling one so can use to bore airholes as well. The Vamo will refuse to fire if the resistance is below 1.2 ohms but due to my carelessness I have dropped it while putting it on table tops quite a few time so I guessed I might have knocked something loose inside. |
