I using nitecore, so far ok for me. Why you say not charging properly?
*
sometimes a fully charge 18350 only last for 1 hour or less which doesn't make sense. sometimes it can last more than 4 hours. that's why i suspect not charging properly. thought my efest battery something wrong but now i got aw still sometimes kena like that sweat.gif

a multimeter will help with that. fully charge, a lithium cell should have 4.20+/-0.05 volts. your charger, cheap or not, should output around that area too. else something is wrong. one of my older charger looks like it's charging normally, but it never seems to turn green. a volt test shows it outputs 9+volt  blink.gif . would probably create a fire if i continue using it. i always make sure my multimeter is working correctly before using my KTS. i'm just that cautious.  laugh.gif

ok thanks. need to find my multi meter then. it's buried....somewhere sweat.gif

side firing not so suitable if u go sub ohm. the button heat up pretty fast. i prefer side firing for convenience sake and i like my ohm between 1.5 and 2 ohm so no issue for me.

plus using side firing i dont have to worry about firing the mod in stand up position especially using heavy tank like kayfun for example.

that's the thing about clone stuff. inconsistency. it's coming out of production line without much qc. that's why we heard diff story about same product. if it works then it's great. if not u ended up one thing after another and wasting a lot of money u can actually use to get the real thing smile.gif

good stuff. rsst is the easiest genny for beginners. to properly learn to recoil u need a mean of checking ur coil ohm and also the possibility of shorting. either an ohm checker or a cheap vv device that can check ur ohm. it's safe to know everything good and not shorting before u fire it up with ur nemesis.

another thing...must watch a lot of you tube videos and i mean a lot sweat.gif

i have a vamo vv to check the ohm....what's the sweet spot of the ohm? below 1 ohm?

ya , watched a few video d....gonna try it out tomorrow....thanks bro !
*
yup vamo will do. dont rush into sub ohm just yet. familiar urself with the coiling process first. get something between 1.5 to 2 ohm. get a taste and then when u comfy u can try coiling lower ohm and compare urself. only u can tell ur own sweet spot. mine always been between 1.5 on 2 ohm. also the lower the ohm the faster it will eat ur battery. good luck smile.gif

Past 2 days has been coiling hell for me. No matter what I do or how I recoil, I always kena hotspot on the IGO-W. Choke and gagged on first vape even though the coil was firing nicely before I primed the wick and put the cap back on.

Damn... I must be doing something wrong but for the heck of me, I can't seem to resolve it.  vmad.gif  mad.gif

Using more wraps with a 30 AWG on an IGO-W is not easy. The space between the poles are so small that parts of the coil touches the pole easily if not careful making the last wrap not firing. sad.gif
*
i use 32g wire (0.2mm) for small space. they are very thin and easier to work with than 30g wire. 4/5 wraps over 3 fold of 2mm wick will gv u 1.8 ohm
that's what i use for my immortalizer now.
