There is just something about it being a tad bit too colourful for my liking. I have always preferred the darker settings that's why I loved the movie as well as the earlier SIC designs. At least for OOO, the rider looks more beastly than in the show.

i have to disagree with this , bandai holding report for 3 quarters sales for fourze and 1 quarter sales of wizard show are 31.5 billion yen in the year 2012 , a 0.4 billion yen down from 2011 which contain 3 quarters sales of OOO and 1 quarter sales of fourze which has the record of most sales of 31.9 billion yen .
while fourze total account for 26.5 billion yen which is less than OOO in total of 28.3 billion yen , fourze overall still beat all the previous heisei rider sales , and i notice that a rider sales which is more than 20 billion yen get a complete selection modification belt treatment like Kuuga , Ryuki , Faiz , Den-O & W .
the only explain which make fourze toy sale look like dump its becuz of oversupply . demand is still there but bandai oversupply it.

the interview also state they do not know how to design fourze into SIC look , which i believe the artist will solve this problem sooner or later ,
becuz hibiki had the worst record of sales but still get SIC treatment while the interview state they wont be doing SHF hibiki anytime soon due to previous poor rating of show.

conclusion : whatever figure u love/hate to buy , bandai still make money

I totally agree with you.

The key word is they will not do Hibiki "anytime soon", means they will still do it later.
The worst case is they do a limited exclusive release so they will not over produce.

Actually I am quite surprise Hibiki products are not popular. They have launch the most SIC based on Hibiki!!
Anyway, I believe there are many SHF collectors out there who will want to get a Hibiki SHF figure. I am one of them.
So, just keep our fingers cross and hope that Bandai will release all Riders in SHF!!

Hmmm but they seems to be fooling around. I only watched their sub of episode 7, and they did a few weird translation, e.g. they translate "tsuyoi" (he's strong) as "He's gay..." or something like that hahahaha

I think hibiki is the series where they started to screw up with original kamen rider... They having the big monster where the previous series havent done it before. In the end all the later series follow its footstep such as big train fighting monster, big castle coming alive, etc. To me hibiki look more it should be categorize in series like ryukendo, gransazer

I will not say that they screw up Kamen Riders...
I think it's just new elements they introduced into the series.
As previously, a lot of the effects or monster is impposible for them to produce due to the technology during that time.
And now, with all the CG, they are able to do a lot of things.
To be honest. I think the taste of the audiences have change as well.
When I watch the Showa Riders last time when I was younger, I find them very interesting. But now, when I re-watch back the Showa series, I find them a bit boring too...
So, the time has change, and the show has to evolve too...

Btw, I am surprise Bandai has not announced any Gaim riders for SHF yet!!
Hope they will announce soon!! Looking forward to them!!

I gave Gaim a try but I really couldn't sit through the whole episode. Even when I skipped to the part when he transformed, I was like "WTF??!!". I suppose it is a matter of personal taste but I do rewatch the old school kamen riders and I do find them enjoyable. As for Heisei ones, I'd say I only truly enjoy Kuuga, Kabuto, W and OOO ? Kuuga probably goes for the win. The Showa era ones seem to be better to me simply due to what they lack aka "the amount of FLICK" they give - Kamen Rider Black actually punched girls and kids -.-". Those are actual bike stunts with real explosives haha... Back then, it seems like regulation was more lax so there is a lot of violence and gore in the show - case in point, first episode of Amazon.

When it comes to Heisei period (after Kuuga), I'd say they seem to have more style over substance? The stories and plot seem flimsy while there is an overuse of cheap looking CGI. Every other riders also have several transformation. Feels a bit like berbunga bunga tapi tak berguna
