The problem is your calculation and perception of the cost.  On Xiaomi Singapore's website is SGD19.99 + SGD5 delivery = SGD25 = RM66.  To deliver to you via Poslaju is another RM6.  What about the time taken to wait in front of the computer and compete with others to get it (just like AirAsia 0 fare sale)?  In fact, asking for RM100 is cheap.  Do have 3 sets of  brand new iF edition Pistons with me just to spare and have not intention to sell at all, at least not at RM100  shakehead.gif

Beware of fakes!

Thanks for enlightening. Regardless of the price, I've already placed a deposit for a set from a forumer. I've been helping my friends who didn't manage to buy Xiaomi power banks at no cost too - but that's friends, so maybe that isn't the best example.

I got mine today and will give it a try and post more reviews soon.

The packaging is really neat and doesn't feel cheap. Especially like the rubberized case which let you to keep your Piston tidy without tangling the cable. The programmable volume up/down key seem to work with xiaomi phone only and doesn't work with my Nexus 4. Well at least the answer phone button still works. Might retire my SE215 with this since it has comes with a microphone too. Am not too particular with soundstage when traveling since I'm only listening to 320kbps mp3 on the move.

i have a pair of these. 2.0 rosegold

and i have a pair of the version 1.0, the bass is weird, muffled. just the kind of cheap earphone to replace original earphone of your smart phone.

also i have a pair of triplefi.

lets just say, this pair of rosegold is good enough, that i will not need to bring my triplefi out anymore.

with this price, most ppl can buy one pair, and skip all below rm800 earphones.

Yes beware of the fakes and only deal with proper xiaomi agent.

Woah, u mean u have to pay RM100 to get it in Malaysia? That's steep price. I see a business opportunity here cool2.gif

My rubberized case smells like chocolate, is this normal? lol

Is this as good as my SE215? Nope. Far from it. But on 320kbps setting, the Piston still provides a pleasure listening experience, good enough for my day-to-day travel requirement. And it comes with S-M-L sized earbud, sure you can find one that fits your eye.

oh ya, this is not bought from xiaomi Singapore hence not the IF edition. I guess I'm not missing much, just a black pouch, white english manual and the shirt clip with a IF design word engraved on it.

That's about it.

Using my pair from SSJBen... sound really much better than my previous Sony MDR210B, a lot clearer and much better high ends.
