It is very very hard for KPKT to announce a building as abandoned..may take 3-4 years bro..then the developer need to be wound up...kpkt appoint a liquidator..then need to appoint new contractor/developer to continue the project...the new guy will propose increase of price (profit mahh) so the buyers need to topup abit.

maybe people involved in his "failed" story can share so that people will be more cautious lar

anyway i am sure there are escape clause in his contract also

yes..u need to appoint a lawyer and open up a civil case againts the developer. for HDA purchaser can pursue through tribunal channel and limit only till 50k only. if civil case got no limit maaa...sue left right centre..huhu

yes thats the max amount we can claim from tribunal. if its higher than that you have to go to civil lawsuit.

example: your house suppose to get LAD 80k. than developer dont wanna pay or pay less. then u report tribunal. u win than max amount is 50k that the tribunal can award to u.

pro: cheap mah. pay tribunal rm 10 liddat to register case. no need lawyer. u explain to judge/magistrate watever.

cons: max 50k claims

by law they have to pay. its like court decision. if they wanna challenge tribunal decision developer have to bring to higher court (civil case edi). they have to prove lor. usually if tribunal awarded to purchaser already concrete reason. they dont simply2 award to you.

if they simply delay cannot mah. kena penalty. if wanna challenge than civil case. developer need to fork out money wor.

if declare bancrupt abit complicated. hahaha. but liquidator will take over from the bancrupt company. if a developer declare bancrupt then the development itself will be takeover by liquidator. all their land taken wor. not simply can declare bancrupt liddat. of course this process will take time.

if LAD just go tribunal. if developer really at fault then u cam get the full amount.sometimes developer fight back also.
