hear from little bird...

Ssc progress :

1. Dev Manage to secure funds from HK

2. Waiting for approval from BNM before the funds can be disburse.

3. The moment funds are disbursed, 90 days is the time needed to start construction again.

So yes there will be delay, but should still within the 48 months as per SPA

(dont ask me for more updates, i just got this update from someone that deals direct with developer)

I am not sure what to do next whether to wait as they promise to complete by 2022 for block C or to ask for termination of spa. I am writing to Christopher Chan https://www.nst.com.my/property/2018/04/359...g-due-diligence for his advice. If we’re to take legal action, we need to join force. Do you know other buyers like us or any channels of group chat available ?

I also looking forward the group of the other buyer. please count me in as well. more people stand on will give them more pressure. i think next round my investment to property will be on completed building. on going construction top risk. even is the commercial base

Is 50k the penalty limit to sue the developer for HDA ? That means if successfully sued and developer will pay us maximum 50k ?

yes thats the max amount we can claim from tribunal. if its higher than that you have to go to civil lawsuit.

example: your house suppose to get LAD 80k. than developer dont wanna pay or pay less. then u report tribunal. u win than max amount is 50k that the tribunal can award to u.

pro: cheap mah. pay tribunal rm 10 liddat to register case. no need lawyer. u explain to judge/magistrate watever.

cons: max 50k claims
