tbh not just dzeko, no one in city clicked last season. david silva had a poor season, aguero was a shade of his debut season self, kompany wasnt the rock he was. maybe they were still celebrating from the dramatic last minute champions glory iuno. dzeko had a few fantastic games as a super sub, but never had the same impact when he started a game. now i'm not sure if giroud would be able to do that, because dzeko is clinical, giroud is not. giroud's best moments last season was his assists rather than his goals. the only goal i remember from giroud is the beauty curl against brighton(?)

yeeaaaaaaaappp, the saga's dragging on all right. rumours are RM is holding out for 30mil instead of 23mil. let's settle for 25mil and get to the end of this transfer saga, eh?
ramsey for fellaini lol. he's the freakin godson you dont trade your godsons for afroheads! |

yes to keeping ramsey as well. i think he'll reach his full potential quicker playing in lesser teams, i'd rather the godson reach his potential with us tho

hahaha... fans are starting to get flashbacks of Mata tbh at this point. and if the articles are true then i dont know who's the one more at fault, wenger for not forking more money, or RM for being such difficult sellers. last time we heard they wanted 25mil, now we increased to 23mil they want 30mil. RM are infamous for being difficult when it comes to selling their players.
at this point i'm starting to look at suarez/rooney and think they're not bad options at all already. |

lol. and in my fifa career season giroud is the club's top scorer. higuain has half of giroud's goals. #notrelevant

gervinho is disposable. if we for some reason sign rooney or suarez, then i'm sure podolski will go. higuain alone wont damage anyone's chances. as far as i'm concerned, gervinho plays on the flanks. all of those players (poldi, walcott, gerv) wants to play in the center but none are efficient enough tbh.

the rivalry in german isnt as intense as in the pl from what i understand. bayern has been so dominant in that league that no team can properly be their rival. although it's sad to finally see a team that can challenge them but only to be disintegrated and absorbed by them.
for sure dortmund wont let anymore key players leave, but i still like marco reus any news on mario gomez? is city snapping him up or what? they cant possibly keep gomez/mandzukic/lewandowski in the same team and expect them to be happy with the game time they're dividing among themselves This post has been edited by Thumpy Ick: Jul 7 2013, 11:46 PM |

there's a reason bayern's offloading him. interesting to see who gets to start, lewan or mandzukic. city should get mario gomez so they wont bother with adding more strikers and potentially stealing our targets.

wenger's trying to psycho real madrid. "if you keep haggling for higuain i'll just go buy another striker"
30mil for suarez is about apt tho, if we were seriously going for suarez anything more than 30mil would be crazy |

^ difference is this time we're buying not selling, so yeah i'll admit this is better than the cesc/rvp/nasri sagas of a few seasons back lol.
higuain is class, but unproven in epl, and a bit of a risk since he's not getting frequent playtime in RM. but out of all the three strikers he's the most level headed. typical arsenal player. suarez is class, proven in the epl, about the same age as higuain, ready to give his all for the sake of team even if it means tarnishing his own reputation. but risky in the sense of crazy behaviour. rooney is class, proven in epl, a winner, is english. older than the rest. risk is whether he's motivated to play in a lesser club. he also brings drama wherever he goes. very unlike an arsenal player. i'll trust wenger's judgment on who to bring into the squad between the three. heck we might even get a striker who's not related to us at all so far. as long as we get one i'm happy. |

ini sumer salah mejri!
on another note, Mario Gomez has signed with Fiorentina. i'm like wow, what a downgrade. but i guess that leaves jovetic up for grabs again. wow it feels like months since i've typed that name. |
