yeah, but RM had a complete team (casillas, pepe/ramos, xabi, ronaldo, benzema) and won peanuts. it'd be interesting to see how PSG do in the CL.

bayern's gonna be fun on fifa too with goetze and lewan. barca with neymar/messi sounds good too.

taken from liverpoolfc's website

QUOTE
Are the players who don't observe Ramadan supportive of your change in schedule during this time?

Yes. The majority of players are aware that myself, Kolo Toure and Oussama Assaidi are fasting and they are very curious as well. We often get grilled and asked lots questions about it. I don't mind that at all. It's quite endearing. I'll often get players like Luis Suarez and Lucas, at the end of the day, coming to me and saying: "It's sunset, it's time for you to eat now." Just in case I have forgotten when to open my fast. So it is good and all the players are very supportive.

sell off to qpr la... they're playing in lower league, i think bendtner's good enough to play there, and qpr is rich. we can make a trade with one of their players

aight, so wayne rooney is heading out.

" According to sources close to the player, Rooney is fuming after Moyes stated that "overall my thought on Wayne is, if for any reason we had an injury to Robin van Persie, we'll need him", with the 27-year-old also unhappy at statements from Ed Woodward, the executive vice-president. Rooney has entered the final two years of his contract but Woodward said that United would not "be afraid to run a contract down" "

nevertheless, i still question his motivation if he ever joins us. he'll act like a diva and i wont like that. my vote is still on suarez/higuain. and i think he's better off joining clubs outside england. time for you to expand your horizons, wayne

"Zlatan wants reunion with Carlo at Real" ?

yes please, go there and release Higgs Boson. or go there and leave us unrivaled for Suarez.

in other words, just go there!

i am reading rave reviews on zelalem AGAIN. and it's always good for a striker to get a hattrick regardless of the opposition, i really am rooting for a much improved second season for ollie g.

and i just found out thiago alcantara went to bayern to follow pep. how many freakin midfielders does he want in that team?! thiago/bastian/kroos/goetze, i think pep's looking to emulate his barca style and play tiki taka. mid-3 will be thiago/bastian/kroos, while goetze will play the iniesta role and roam in front with lewan and ribery.

heck let's put a cheeky bid for thomas muller

why would santi leave a CL team for a team that plays for nothing. that would be an insult to santi's talent. come on.

unless even weirder things happened behind the scenes, this is a transfer rumour which is the most brainless of all.

i plant this here for future reference.

"Later on Wednesday, Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo described newspaper reports linking his club with a move for Cazorla as "invented".

Cerezo, told Marca.com: "We have no news of Cazorla. These are invented stories that are made up every day.'' "

no more talk of cazorla leaving.

yea. sagna is pretty much 4th choice CB. we really dont need to fork out money to get a 4th choice CB when we have a versatile RB in the team. giroud's second goal reminds me of his brighton (?) goal. i think rather than finishing he should train his composure and ability to work up a few extra yards to shoot. his first goal was weak tho

chill... jaga pahala puasa tuan2 sekalian... hehe

n yeah i want to see more oxlade chamberlain next season too. hopefully with the departure of gervinho we can get to see more appearances of AOC. the guy's speedy enough to play on the wings and robust enough to hold his own in the middle. all this talk of zelalem and gnabry is good, but AOC is what i want to see getting more play time!

aight, a few updates.

Tommy Vermaelen will be out for 3 months due to a stress fracture of his lower back. it's from Goal, but really i dont see why Goal would create stories on player's injuries. maybe to restart the Ashley Williams story, but eh.

And Wenger insists we can cope with Wayne Rooney's wage demands.

QUOTE
"It happened to us last year and it can happen to them," said Wenger.

"We would not have a problem with the wages of Rooney."

"Rooney is under contract and has two years to go so it's United who make the decision. But we would not have a problem with the wages of Rooney."
... i'm going to interpret that as "we have enough money to cope with the wages of suarez and another player"

it's all down to higuain tho, he's being too quiet for a player who wants out. come out and say something, put pressure on RM. until he does that the deal wont progress.

financially we're going against a napoli who has just received a large sum for edinson. if napoli's serious about higuain we can do nothing.

... eeeehhhh. time to edit fifa again, remove higuain and put in suarez.
