i dont think anyone actually knows what exactly the clauses are in cesc's transfer. the latest version of it that i read is that: we only get 50% of the PROFIT that barca makes from selling cesc. there's a set fee of 25mil on him, if man utd buys him for 35mil barca gets 30mil and we get 5mil, since barca made a 10mil profit.

and that first option clause only applies if cesc wants a move to arsenal. if we're the one making a bid, that clause is void.

it's because real madrid is being difficult. we started out with 20mil with higuain, then they want 27mil. then 30mil. now 35mil. at first the suarez bid looks like an attempt to tell RM higuain's not the only player we're interested in, and if you want to offload the disillusioned player then accept our bid. but now it looks like we have genuine interest in suarez after all.

no one knows exactly what's happening in the club anyway. i dont mind either of the two.

do what you want mate. i supported man city for a while last 2 seasons because of sergio aguero and david silva, two of my favorite players. next season i'll be cheering on chelsea for the games that andre schurrle will be playing as well. i cheered for barca everytime i see cesc play. rvp was not my favorite, tho if he lasted a few more seasons he wouldve been.

but seeing aguero, silva and cesc lifting trophies will never be as satisfying as seeing the arsenal squad lift it.
