Ah I see.

Would you personally recommend a snap in case back? Or would you avoid it?

doesn't bother me.
but most of mine are divers, so no snap... all proper screw back.

That's very sad, so that just leave me 2 choices only, else i will definitely get the blue

Damn cry.gif
I also got my local shop to order the blue retrograde as well. Waited since before CNY. Got the update last week that they couldn't bring it in. Weird thing is they occasionally bring in JDM model like the Classic with power reserve which are positioned slightly slanted to the side (something like WZ0131FD) but they can't get the retrograde.
They offered me the new blue dial skeleton though. Not my cup of tea. But the blue dial is really nice.
Guess i'll be going for the black dial and strap it with leather.

Held it and it looks good. Better than the pictures.
But being a casual wearing guy. I hardly wear shirts and suit.
Don't think it will suit me that well.
Getting the black one for sure. smile.gif

Try the Orient Union. Should be around your budget. It's conservative as well so it suitable for your father.
