Eh, RM800 after discount is for Raven.
Maybe RM600-700 for the Ray/Mako.
I saw the price at a mall.
I don't think can get RM400+ anymore.

A bit hard to find nowadays I think.
I've seen one shop in Alamanda selling it, also in Sunway Pyramid.
There's a big Orient shop in Sungei Wang, but dunno they have or not.
There's also some shops in Pertama selling Orients.

You can always buy online. It's cheaper.

Anyway, didn't like the leather strap that came with the watch, swapped with a leather nato from Fossil.

Hello guys. New user here, and new to the world of watches too lol. Btw, im currently eye-ing on Orient Mako cem65001b and orient ray 65008b. Cant decide which one to buy haha..but maybe will get the mako instead. Much cheaper also. biggrin.gif

Just want to ask your opinions, are automatic watches last much longer compare to quartz? I have 7 year old "fake" auto watch, still running to this day but it always died over time. And i never service it also. If i buy the orient mako, do i have to service it regularly? Like once a year?

And i saw on citytime orient mako sales for rm450, is it a good deal?

u only send for service if something wrong with it.
unless its a very expensive like 6-figure piece.

rm450 is good enough.

Unfortunately, it got sold out. So sad. And now orient ray from watchesonline.my also sold out too. Only ray raven is available. Might thinking to get ray diver from citytime though. And ray raven is tempting also..😂

Wonder if anyone did claim warranty for your Orient watches bought from Citytime before? I asked citytime regards to their International warranty stated on the product page, they said if we would like to claim warranty, it's better and easier if we send it back to them. Doesn't sounds right to me, sounds very fishy. Anyone can clarify this, please?

It's not fishy. They probably sent it back to the factory here... btw Orient watches sold here came from factory in M'sia.
Japan factory produces for domestic and US market. If not mistaken, there is also a Philippines factory... can't remember.
In S'pore, they sell the Japan versions but costs more.

hmm dont confuse orient with seiko.
there is no orient production in malaysia...only seiko.
afaik all orient watches are still made in japan regardless of how much it is.
