i'm still deciding whether to have backlight for my bathroom mirror or to have it something like this. what you guys think?

Some point you may need to consider, doing backlight mean there will be a distance about your mirror and wall, there will at lease a space of 3 to 4 in, mean that will be coming out from wall and may make your table look smaller.

Also, backlight will be bit harder to change light

I am looking for a contractor who can supply and install mirror to a full height house interior wall....not mirror cabinets. Please PM me. Thanks.

thanks for the points smile.gif. I see most ppl have back lights for their bathroom mirror rather than side lights. not too sure why though. could it be the shadow/effects casted

Mostly becoz when the light expose and you standing in front of mirror, your eye will able to see the light source, which may difficult for your eye. While the light hidden in somewhere, you don't have to look direct into the light source, but you still able to use for the light source.

Back lighting is more for decorative purpose.
While front light give you much better visibility.
So it depends on what you want.
