Progress
Start from ktek did some test on Core i5 sample from Intel. It seems like this unreleased version of Intel DH87MC mobo is flashed with Intel Extreme Board BIOS, H87 chipset can adjust CPU multiplier!!
Working around the UEFI BIOS is quite simple with suprisingly smooth mouse movement (ktek, Kelvin approved thumbup.gif ) but BCLK adjustment & settings are somewhat buggy dry.gif

By sliding the CPU multiplier glider, BIOS show unlocked 4.5ghz . After getting into windows, CPU-Z only reports stock speed 3GHz with turbo @ 3.2GHz
We were fed up with the outcome. Did some short test with samsung DDR2133c10 kit only stable with DDR1333 or 1600c9.

nothing dramatic, just do some benchmark for HWBOT submittion.

======================
Without wasting time, we switched to the main show of the day. Intel Core i7-4770K (Haswell architecture)
According to Kelvin's source, this chip is newer batch from Malaysia. Our initial target is achieve CPU clock 4500-4600MHz stable within acceptable Vcore and temperature. That will be quite a respectable speed becos the same day owikh84 just managed to push 4.7GHz using customized water cooling system.

our test system configuration:

This 4770K gives good indiction as a low vcore chip.
So, Ace has suggested to OC it straight away 5.0GHz

Since the temperature shoot up very high, we switched to superpi 32M (1 thread)

Conclusion
We ended this gathering around 9PM ++
This Gigabyte Z87-D3HP mobo is quite a capable one to keep up and endure during our 4770K overclocking
Good buy below RM500
Haswell integrated memory controller is more aggresive than Ivy Bridge which lose out some DRAM MHz
