QUOTE(V-Zero @ Jun 30 2013, 09:29 PM) If you consider revenue then yes there's growth. Left to right from 2007 - 2012. No 2013 as no full report. And note that it already achieve 18 million earnings in 2008 and 17 million in 2009. I usually look at growth in a uniform way. IE maybe little but constant growth instead of erratic earnings. To me cash flow and net earnings is far more important, also SGA, depreciation, interest etc. There's no meaning if you make lots of sales by spending far more money, for example. And 2012 - 2013 wise yes there might be growth, but as I said I didn't include it cz there's no full report. [Dividend Paid in RM'000] 14,480 14,680 9,000 12,000 15,400 16,000 [Free Cash Flow in RM'000] 23,736 19,824 36,409 30,905 24,909 35,986 [Net Earnings in RM'000] 24,553 20,974 20,918 24,676 17,854 21,741 But by using FCF, u may notice a bit high figure of 36m , that maybe an attraction so to speak, couple with better 2013 unaudited results. U could be the early birds in buying if it is your cup of tea ,rather than waiting for others to discover first , and by the time u want to buy, it could be at a premium. Other Models might indicate it is a rather flat trend , sensor problem BTW Year 2013 ended 30/4/2013 is out, wonder if u have missed it too. Just my view only. QUOTE(V-Zero @ Jun 30 2013, 10:01 PM) Yes no doubt, buy before others did. Apollo is not my cup of tea too.But I'm not really interested in this Apollo though. Just using it to refresh my valuation process. But just using FCF, this company is doing better as time goes. Maybe it is an Insider Info indicator ( when others do not notice ) This post has been edited by SKY 1809: Jun 30 2013, 10:09 PM |

QUOTE(StupidGuyPlayComp @ Jul 8 2013, 11:31 AM) U know what, MBSB is also operating so called shadow banking like the Ones in China ..Shadow banking poses problem to Malaysia http://www.malaysia-chronicle.com/index.ph...3#axzz2YQFLaexT In Malaysia, it isn't clear just how large the shadow banking system is as they are not captured in any formal banking statistics. But some estimates put it at easily several hundred billions the amount of money loaned out. Among the more prominent shadow banks are lenders such as the Government-owned Bank Rakyat Malaysia Bhd (Bank Rakyat) and public-listed Malaysia Building Society Bhd (MBSB). QUOTE(StupidGuyPlayComp @ Jul 8 2013, 11:54 AM) EPF hold 60% above of MBSB's share..........another not transparent company is MAS But no statistics kept and no controls...... Sad to see EPF entity is providing toxic loans in Billions.... A "shadow banking" crisis is looming if left unchecked and could potentially derail the Malaysian financial markets and economy.
