The way I see it, is good news.

no theme park = no crowd = no parking problem

Gamblers can go up easier

no theme park = no children play area= no gamblers with family
no theme park = no children play area= less hotel occupancy = less revenue

Don;t under estimate those part time gambler, family & wife at theme park, they go gamble at genting...

Don't underestimate those impulse gamblers who go up as and when they feel bored during weekends

They see huge crowd and/or no parking, they turn back go spa rather than gamble at Hilltop

If its really a gambler, parking issue is not possible to interrupt them from gambling

usually ppl visit genting mainly for 2 attraction, gambling or theme park..............

once theme park closed, so the visitor will lesser. die liao

U mean PNB and EPF support Genting when FF sell

1) Genting Highlands still has indoor theme park.
2) GENTING & GENM have other assets which will generate income.

While no doubt income will be affected, I would like to know the extent...

I think more worried are those retailers there. Less people shopping, especially food.
As for gamblers, I don't think much effect.
However, I wish the sentiment can send Genting stock price down 20%, then I accumulate.

Genting S earning is weak. Some more Genting made a social responsibility contribution of 180M .

Strong contributions come from Genting M and Plant, but Palm OIl is...........

U need to put yourself in FF shoes whether it is ok to maintain as Genting shareholders

Not forgetting the big fat Directors fees
