QUOTE(twho @ Feb 2 2014, 08:54 PM) Hi guys, anyone know how much a fuel pump for kelisa cost + installation? Car suddenly died and i cant start it. Mechanic told me it's the fuel pump. Bro,check your cable from front to fuel pump under the behind seat.. My car mechanic check first said fuel pump but at end just the cable terbakar..so they just modify the cable.. save a lot your money

QUOTE(twho @ Feb 3 2014, 12:43 PM) Thanks. 125k Yeah, the fuel pump was just based on my mechanic assumption on listening to the car engine sound. CNY nobody buka kedai till today. Getting it checked now. Apparently there no electricity goin to the engine on 1st check. Can't start. Just kicking sound. Battery is still quite new. Thanks. if don't have any sound, its starter issue or ur wiring to fuel pump might be burn i think.. my kelisa also have that problem but seasonal... so when he don't want go anywhere he just plain dead n mostly can start on the next day

QUOTE(twho @ Feb 3 2014, 09:09 PM) I think the mechanic tested the spark plugs and said that there's no electricity goin through when trying to start the engine. Said it could be a sensor issue. Will need to see how it goes tomorrow. CNY PH can't get spare parts. how old is your car? mine 11years edy... i think most of old kelisa will have this problem... need to do proper grounding after this

QUOTE(twho @ Feb 3 2014, 09:37 PM) 12years this year. Any idea what sensor the mechanic is talking about and how much it'll cost? Seems to be heading to a higher cost than the initial fuel pump assumption. sorry, donno how much it will be cost u.. i think 300-500..might be.. finger cross hope it doesn't cost you a bomb..
