can we just replace the mounting ourselves? i heard just need to gantung engine right?

If you have the crane to lift the engine up and you know how to really DIY, why not...

i saw the access for the left side and right side doable. the aft is a problem. have to find a mechanic which can just gantung. ive seen one the support at the gearbox which i think is risky.

If you find a mechanic to just gantung it's still pricey. The crane work is the costlier one.

around rm250... try google schmaco and you will find the list of dealers..

Just to update on installing re-cond air-con compressor.

It has been already 6 months and the air-con is working fine, very cooling.
Just like the first day of installation.

I think I made the right choice to do it at an authorised Denso workshop,
even though it's just a shoplot with hardly any cars waiting inside.

Cost a bit more, but they were sure of what they were doing.
Assurance is better than Insurance!

The re-cond warranty of 3 months already over.
But the Cooling coil got 1 year warranty.

Update ... on my new perodua engine mounting ....

total perodua mounting = rm 580.
labour = rm 100.

after the change, the steering feels damn solid, precise and 'tight' ( before the change, the steering was kind of loose and vibrating). overall feel is very good.

Another issue : -

now, when my auto kelisa is on the Reverse gear, with handbrake on, the front has a noticeable 'dak, dak, dak' continous sound. my foreman checked and said most likely the sond is from the GEAREBOX !!! he said when the car is idle and the ball bearing is loose and makes knocking sound, but when the car is moving and the gears are propserly engaged and running, there is no such sound (which is true, there is no sound when moving).

Please comment : the dak dak dak sound only omes on when Reverse gear is on and the car is idel. But on ther gears there is no such sound. Anyone care to comment please? Please help.
