hot afternoon. decided to clean my engine bay.
... wrap up electrical parts, battery, air intake hose and 2 dont knoe wat parts but they look 'takut water type'.
... spray waxco engine cleaner. tis spray is sharp n spray little but sharp jets of liquid ( not foam as seen in u tube(.
... observe small areas that need further sprays n shoot!
... use tooth brush n help to brush n agitate the cleaner liquid. just simply brush the engine bay areas.
... wait for 10 minutes.
... i use ordinary water hose to shot lightly over .
... leave to air dry.
... later will spray silicon spray to the rubber n vinyl parts to make them more younger...haha

need to cover the elec parts and use house water hose only. ifnuse power hose water might squeeze into some parts tat can cause problems. also engine shd b cold. and wipe dry then air dry. shd b ok.
if u go to shops to wash your engine would b hot and can lead to cracks !!! ???

Damnnn, is 280 ori?

On the other hand, is there suppose to be something covering the bottom part of the steering highlighted in the pic?
Check with you experts before i go back and ask the workshop.

tuere is no cover for the messy wireings at the bottom part of the steering. cant really see these wires unless we bend our heads close to the seat or under the steering right?

Hi, wanna ask all Kelisa owners here who have changed their oxygen sensor.

1) how is the oxygen sensor look like? single wire or 4-wire type? bcoz I ask the spare part shop and he showed me 4-wire type and said kelisa/myvi also same can use this. but when i check underhood, looks like single wire type.

2) how much does it cost?

thanks
*
whu do you need to change the oxygen sensor?

my kelisa engine light is on during car stationary or slow at traffic light or jam time. then fuel consumption also increased alot due to that. read alot of comment said is caused by the oxygen sensor faulty. wonder if others who had experienced this would share how they fix this
*
which 'engine light'? is it the RED one when the key is turned once before ignition?
how much is the osy sensor and have you fixed it already? is so, pls update us on the fc as i am quite sensitive to this fc thingy.
Thanks

Hi guys, what is your car temp gauge reading? Mine was reaching the nail (previously was only 30-40% while driving), went to few workshops, they say is normal hmm.gif
*
my foreman once told me 30-40% is normal. but mine is almost zero after half hour driving cos i hv changed my compressor and radiator flushed and fan changed. i changed them cos air con blew hot air after idling for 2-3 minutes.

Hi,

Im planning to change my rims(old one got dents). Thinking of getting the standard myvi rims. Do you think it would cause any problems if i do?
Planning to get 175 65 r14 based tyres.
*
i think i saw in mudah selling a full set of myvi rims. cheap.
makr sure your choice is not the heavy type. i once bought a set of 14" rims after a tyre shop pushed to me. it is like the waja rims. so huge and heavy until my kelisa lost pickup and bad fc!!! i throw them in my garden.
y not consider taiwan ssr rims like mine?
