my kelisa aircon has been weird. sometimes it blows warm air, especially after idling for 0ver 5-10 minutes.
went to have a good check and found that the valve/thermostat that controls the water flow is not functioning.

when the connecting hose was removed, there was NO VALVE insdie! the ex owner must have removed it and try to save money by not installing one last time !!! foreman told me thisw can also work but not consistent air temp.

so i helped to cleaned up the valve and the cap.

got the valve replace, but dont know what brand.

hope the air is cooler ...

Brand Denso. New one. Bought at aircond shop. I don't think it is the original one that kelisa is using. Using since jan 2013 until now. I also have the problem of intermitent hot air coming out the lourve (especially when not moving), but I found out the problem come from the radiator fan. I check the fuse for the radiator fan, see burn mark at the fuse wire, so change to new one. At first I change with a cheap fuse about rm8, that fuse broke and have to buy another one that cost abit about 20++. Looks like the original one. And no problem regarding aircond till this day.

I thot as long as the radiator fan is running, this shd not be the cause if the intermitten warm aircon air? Ir was the fused fit shit and the fan was not running, or maybe not running all the time?

For my case, when the car is moving the aircond is cold (this is due to the air outside doing the cooling), but stopping warm start coming out. The radiator fan sometimes running intermitent as if someone flipping the switch on and off. That was the reason why I checked the fuse. It seem tight during checking, but I saw the fuse wire had black burn mark.

There is a diagram on the fuse box, look for RAD fuse. Open the cover and look for the fuse, as I buy the fuse I'll make sure it is the same. The cheap one have different colour and the fuse wire look different.

i not sure cos it was done by my good friend's workshop. he recommended a larger compressor and told me this wont stress the aircon system. i think can just go to a good aircon shop to ask for their opinion on which brand ?

Kelisa 12 years old, air con little cold in mornings but not
cold at all in afternoons.

Authorised denso dealer workshop in Klang indicated original
Denso compressor worn out & cooling coil leaking.

Changed to Recon compressor & new 'Patco' coil & new Denso drier.
Inclusive of gas filling, vacuum & repair labour, about rm900.

Would appreciate comments & suggestions on
pricing & repair choices.

Called up Denso Main Service Centre at Glenmarie,
approximately RM2000 to do the same with all original Denso parts.
