QUOTE(evofantasy @ Jan 5 2014, 04:06 PM) basically jz fix/ overhaul the suspension cause it felt like it is pretty much worn out from wear and tear if you pan to change the absorber and srpings, pls ask for ORIGINAL bushes at the top end of the suspension. mine changed to ayam brand and when the car goes over a bump the front gives loud TUNG TUNG sound. i think the bushes are the culprits !!!

QUOTE(megat89 @ Jan 14 2014, 12:36 PM) yup..been getting the same fc..actually before overhaul and after overhaul, the fc is not much different..thanks to the current petrol price, last time rm10 can get 100km..now about 90km..and after changing to open pod, i notice the fc drops till current 18km/l..last time many times i did 20-21km/l with the stock filter..im thinking to get back the stock air filter..open pod really noisy, affect fc.. you mean even before overhaul, yr fc also 18km/l? manual also cant do that. great kelisa bro

just sent for general service. found that the air con radiator was dirty with greasy stuff insude + brownish rusty bottom. rm80 for flushing the radiator and rm80 for changing the top n bottom layer. ... my foreman refused to use castrol mtech 10-40. i think he plans to use 5/10-30. image shows the dirty radiator inlet ... update later .... QUOTE(FatalitY @ Jan 22 2014, 11:59 PM) I've changed my radiator and almost my whole aircond system quite a while ago. Till now my air cond at 1/4 of the temperature level it's chilly and like i turned to number 2 instead of 1. Btw, did u ask y ur foreman refuse to do 10/40? actually he cleaned my radiator. tmr will open up and see how clean it is. coolent was added. i have changed the compressor (larger type) and fan 2 months back. yes, the air cin is cold but not as cold as your, but v comfortable. my foreman said 10-40 might spoil the piston ring and it also can put some stress on the piston. i quite agree cos i was the weekend part time unpaid motorcycle mechanics last time (as my hobby). i think i understood what he meant. so he used the 5-30 castrol (rm105). the steering almost immediately feels less vibration and of course the car is more quite too.

i forgot. for those who are going to replace the battery, use the larger type '60'. only rm10 extra. its larger and stronger n does not stress the alternator or the electrical charging system. it is strong. look at the serial code at the edge of the foto below This post has been edited by mikehwy: Jan 24 2014, 09:41 AM Attached thumbnail(s)

QUOTE(megat89 @ Jan 25 2014, 12:03 PM) how much did u do the grounding?..any effect? grounding cable rm110. voltage stabiliser rm170. for old cars, we shd install at least the g cable as it helps to stabilise the electricity flow of the car. head lamp now damn bright n oncoming cars always shoots at me at nite!!! air con shd be cooler n more stable. for old cars, shd get it done. i got mine from eric here as his cables r thick, full copper and prof service. strongly recommended.
