Back absorber KYB = RM85-RM100(get from accessories shop cheaper). APM(Won't even recommend at all cost) about same price.
Front absorber needs to pair with the spring(suspension) so for full accessories for front suspensin is about RM350-RM400 a pop/1 side.

Perodua original uses APM. U can check with the mechanic first. If its all still good don't have to change the spring. Just change the bushings, mount, absorber.

Btw....for engine overhaul, izzit best to do top OH if the engine is eating my oil or full OH? Any reliable shops to recommend around PJ area? And what's the price?

Shaky car can be tyre problem as well. I had a fat bump on my back left tyre before and it made my car rattle like as in I was driving a dildo. Maybe your mounting as well and yes, I think its front, left n right.

ENgine oil leakage from below usually means your bottom block may be affected. If it is, then have to overhaul. Gear box oil if leak also i think same problem. Mine is already eating my engine oil every week and the gear box is very clanky when I drive(despite it being an auto) Check with another 1-2 mechanic and see what they say. Best and safe bet is to get it overhauled if its past 100,000km or if your exhaust smoke is black

I have not event sent it for repair until now. No moolah and no time. I was thinking of full overhaul cuz I changed the gasket and the valves before. Still eating up my oil.

Whoa...480 and 592???? Mine at most also I risk only 450km/full tank...and its auto 2003...car engine gone edi so forking out my money for full overhaul....T_T

Sent my car to Melaka for full overhaul. Piston ring gone since its long overdue. RM1400++ for full overhaul. Nxt week get back my car so hopefully...

Heyz. Just got back the car 2 days back. Car when start up sounds very rough and deep. Slow acceleration but smooth. Cant go beyond 90 cuz its under testing if any defects. Sometimes when start engine after a day's rest it becomes deep and rough, but after its okay. Fuel I can't say much cuz its below 90 so half tank Im at 300km already.

Parts that were done will post later. Keep forgetting to take my receipt

Depends on individuals really. Weigh out both conditions. New car still has chance of it having to repair from time to time. Juz like Samsung phones, it is designed to not last long so that money keeps flowing into their bank account. Though it's less chance and tech wise, you save on fuel and also safety.

Kelisa is like a rare car nowadays. Its still fuel effecient. I overhauled mine not long ago and my mileage is from 390-400km/full tank before overhaul to 470-490km/full tank. Its a hefty price to repair but I guess it goes a longer way. Just need to change crappy parts from Perodua to Japanese and it may serve you well enough. Plus, in a city like KL, Kelisa cilok mana oso can get parking. Ppl bang oso not as painful as a new car. Just my 0.00002 cents

If you find a mechanic to just gantung it's still pricey. The crane work is the costlier one.

Gasket and ring was leaking. Either way did full OH and everything was fantastic. FC was much more lower and engine seems so much more consistent in acceleration

EO, Oil Filter, Air Filter - buy from shop. Cheaper by RM10-RM15 a piece.

Brake pads - RM90/set (both sides calipers I think)

Wheel balance + alignment = RM50-60

Labour - RM60 at highest since there's no craning

All in all, give at most RM300++ RM400(Semi synth EO), RM300++RM350 (Mineral). Engine tuning...never did it.

My Kelisa also very difficult to maintain...keeps falling apart. =( Any idea where can I go to get good exhaust repair? Mine I think pecah already and it vibrates with bloody irritating sound.

I think mine is the inside rusted as it's a 10+ yrs old car. So planning to change the whole exhaust. Definitely a no no to the ah beng kind. Hahhaha.

After overhaul it's good...better response and FC is great. More than 400km per full tank. Clutch set not yet but preparing to change it to really good sets. Dunno what brand though.
