QUOTE(SouzaDE @ Apr 27 2015, 07:18 AM) Back absorber KYB = RM85-RM100(get from accessories shop cheaper). APM(Won't even recommend at all cost) about same price.Front absorber needs to pair with the spring(suspension) so for full accessories for front suspensin is about RM350-RM400 a pop/1 side. |

QUOTE(tankx3 @ Jun 10 2015, 11:41 PM) I wrote at kelisa club tok v1 no reply then write here.. Shaky car can be tyre problem as well. I had a fat bump on my back left tyre before and it made my car rattle like as in I was driving a dildo. Maybe your mounting as well and yes, I think its front, left n right. My bumpy road slight drift issue is solve by changing the rear right absorber only. with labour damage RM100. Car is a little shaky due to maybe defective engine mount. Anyone can tell me where is the exact spots for the engine mounts?(front, rear, left) and how to see if still can tahan or gone case already? Have seen engine oil leak below, outside mechanic say minor leak, while dealer and sc both suggest me do overhaul and replacements of parts with costs of few thousands. Anyone mind sharing past experience of solving engine oil or gear oil issues? ENgine oil leakage from below usually means your bottom block may be affected. If it is, then have to overhaul. Gear box oil if leak also i think same problem. Mine is already eating my engine oil every week and the gear box is very clanky when I drive(despite it being an auto) Check with another 1-2 mechanic and see what they say. Best and safe bet is to get it overhauled if its past 100,000km or if your exhaust smoke is black |

QUOTE(tankx3 @ Jun 11 2015, 05:10 PM) Seen your post above. How is ur engine right now? U chose which overhaul? I went check tyres twice and its OK. Gear oil level OK 4800km after last change. Engine OK with no black smoke or white smoke. 203000km mileage. I have not event sent it for repair until now. No moolah and no time. I was thinking of full overhaul cuz I changed the gasket and the valves before. Still eating up my oil. |

QUOTE(tankx3 @ Jul 2 2015, 06:43 PM) Heyz. Just got back the car 2 days back. Car when start up sounds very rough and deep. Slow acceleration but smooth. Cant go beyond 90 cuz its under testing if any defects. Sometimes when start engine after a day's rest it becomes deep and rough, but after its okay. Fuel I can't say much cuz its below 90 so half tank Im at 300km already. Parts that were done will post later. Keep forgetting to take my receipt |

QUOTE(lol~ @ Jul 22 2015, 08:19 PM) Hi,i wanna seek some opinion. I own a 2006 850cc kelisa.the kelisa had gone 2 major repair; head engine (due to timing belt break and i try to start the engine hence the valve got bent.) and clutch broke. Depends on individuals really. Weigh out both conditions. New car still has chance of it having to repair from time to time. Juz like Samsung phones, it is designed to not last long so that money keeps flowing into their bank account. Though it's less chance and tech wise, you save on fuel and also safety.I was about to change the car to a new city car but due to economy not that stable,i opt to stick with the car and repair it.so which one is better? Change engine or overhaul it? What are the pros and cons for both? Thx sifus Kelisa is like a rare car nowadays. Its still fuel effecient. I overhauled mine not long ago and my mileage is from 390-400km/full tank before overhaul to 470-490km/full tank. Its a hefty price to repair but I guess it goes a longer way. Just need to change crappy parts from Perodua to Japanese and it may serve you well enough. Plus, in a city like KL, Kelisa cilok mana oso can get parking. Ppl bang oso not as painful as a new car. Just my 0.00002 cents |

QUOTE(yorkhan @ Aug 10 2015, 06:51 PM) i saw the access for the left side and right side doable. the aft is a problem. have to find a mechanic which can just gantung. ive seen one the support at the gearbox which i think is risky. If you find a mechanic to just gantung it's still pricey. The crane work is the costlier one. |

QUOTE(johnngiew @ Sep 8 2015, 01:51 PM) could it be seals leaked? mine was 11 yr old and the oil filter's oil seal is leaking already. need to be replaced. and also there is one o-ring on the top of engine always cause leaking. i changed many times. almost like once every 1.5 year. Gasket and ring was leaking. Either way did full OH and everything was fantastic. FC was much more lower and engine seems so much more consistent in acceleration |

QUOTE(asifniz @ Dec 29 2015, 10:08 AM) Hello to all Kelisa users. I need your advice or cost estimates on Kelisa service. EO, Oil Filter, Air Filter - buy from shop. Cheaper by RM10-RM15 a piece.I have a 2004 Kelisa 1.0 EZi, done approx 140300Km. Will go over the weekend and get the following done: - Engine Oil Change - Oil Filter Change - Air Filter Change - Engine Tuning - Complete Brake Service (Front & Back, pads change & oil topup) - Wheel Balance - Wheel Alignment - Labour Charges? Need your suggestions on what might be the item-wise cost estimate. Thanks!! Brake pads - RM90/set (both sides calipers I think) Wheel balance + alignment = RM50-60 Labour - RM60 at highest since there's no craning All in all, give at most RM300++ RM400(Semi synth EO), RM300++RM350 (Mineral). Engine tuning...never did it. |

QUOTE(tankx3 @ Feb 9 2016, 10:49 PM) Few years ago, I repaired mine.. I think mine is the inside rusted as it's a 10+ yrs old car. So planning to change the whole exhaust. Definitely a no no to the ah beng kind. Hahhaha.I think hook broken? (Forgot what part replaced) costs RM190 How is the car after the overhaul now? Break in period over? Have u replace clutch set before? What brand better? After overhaul it's good...better response and FC is great. More than 400km per full tank. Clutch set not yet but preparing to change it to really good sets. Dunno what brand though. |
