The size were 11x8.5 inches iirc. Print 5 copies which cost RM90 (40 pages) per book.

Hi, can you advise on the software you use to design this "photo magazine"? It looks very cool and it is much more convenient in my opinion, lighter and more portable.

Thanks in advance! smile.gif

I recently did a photobook with photomalaysia but the colour did not come up as contrasty and sharp as my monitor. Am I expecting too much or is this normal?

Has anybody printed with Photobook Malaysia recently? Wanted to know if their quality is still ok or not.

And does anybody know what happen to Phototalkz? I printed once with them. Quality quite nice. But couldn't find them anymore.

I printed a large metal print from Photobook before and it was great.

I also managed to print layflat landscape from them. But the quality is OK only.

Just wanna share about my carelessness with Photobook that cost RM...

If you buy, say 80 pages, and when u insert pages in your photobook, make sure when you have finished, delete all the blank pages. The programme does NOT remind you of the blank pages. And, when you upload, the blank pages will be charged. When you get your Photobook, you will have blank pages (which i angrily tampal with self-print photos).

Just for sharing.

And, i have used pixajoy ... which i feel the colour is not close to the digital images. You may have a differnt view

Hello,

I want to know if photobook print good quality (high resolution, accurate color) photobook as well as photo prints. I also want to know if smartphone snapped photos are enough in term of quality when it comes to printing them out. Lastly, for 4R photos, what aspect ratio should be (4:3 or 16:9)?

Thanks.

If you guys are a familiar with Photobook malaysia and Pixajoy, you will notice they are using the same e-commerce platform aka Taopix. but photobook malaysia switch it to getprintbox.com recently. Although their book generating software is superb and fast, but i found it quite tricky on customization detail. Nowsaday, people want to have more customization ability to their products, so does my customer and me, so we need to have other site that can offer fine quality photobook printing service as well as multiple customization on books finishing.

posted my site product customization page and photobook malaysia. biggrin.gif

Thanks for your reply. Hmm, you said 4mp can print on 4ft canvas? The quality must be pixel like? My smartphone captures 16:9 photo in 17mp and 4:3 photo in 19mp. It is Sony XZ1.

MP as in pixel width by pixel height is one thing, but the quality is another.

And you must see also the knowledge of the print master on whether he / she knows how to max out the resolution and all.

smile.gif That image is quite detailed actually.
