U r very much on the right track... U will graduate next year but start early to think abt your options... This is the correct attitude to excel in life.. Plan ahead.. very much ahead...
I do not know much about your majors.. however, I can offer you general advices...
Think about how your majors could be of benefit to the oil and gas company. Once you can see how you can relate your majors to the specific jobs within the industry, then search for the potential companies. Study a little about the companies to give you some general idea. Write to them, and since you still have about a year before you graduate, try to apply for internship. That will be part of your tickets to get involve. And if you can generate interest of oil majors then it is better.
Thanks Beckupp for your feedback.

i really need to plan since the competition in this industry is sooo tough. hehe.
Anyway, i've already listed some potential companies, where my majors could be interesting for them. the problem is, i'm not sure if joining those companies (which are more into production of pipeline & welding services) would lead me to field job. should i start with them and gain some experience with them first (even though not directly involved in OnG)?
Act, i've already done 3 internship before, but never in OnG (no luck).

This year, i'll try my best to get one in this industry, so that i've something to put on my CV (and gain some knowledge about this industry as well!). But i was wondering if we get paid during internship in Malaysia? And if yes, how much?
