To be honest, Lukaku loaned to Everton is a good move. Eto, Torres and Ba. There is
too much experience and quality in these strikers. It will be very hard for Lukaku to break in.
I think Ba wanted to stay. That is why the club chose to loan Lukaku instead. Ba wanted to stay and prove himself. Maybe the club feels that Lukaku will understands the situation and is easier to persuade to go out on loan.
Jelavic now shooting blanks. If Lukaku scores 2 goals in a row, I'm sure Martinez will put him in the starting 11.
Just hope that Lukaku understands the situation. Chelsea wants him, but with 3 top strikers already, it will be very hard for him to get playing time. Hope Lukaku understand we are just loaning him out for experience and playing time. Hope he doesn't feel he is not wanted. Chelsea see him as a future player, that's why we just LOAN him out. Hope he doesn't do a Sturridge and hands in a transfer request next season.
agree on experience but are you sure about quality?
how is quality being measured for a striker? just a food for thought.
2nd, with the amount of exposure hour torres and ba got last season, it is logical they will have (or should have) a lot more goals than lukaku. what if lukaku is also given the same amount of chance to shine?
torres look good in past few matches but as posted before, how optimistic we should be after all these years? hopefully optimistic will win us all the cups..
