I watch astro fox sport news just now and they interviewed JM.when they ask about mata,JM said he impress with mata performance against swidon and the fan will see more of mata for up coming game.hope its true

For me if mata can develop himself to boost his speed,he will become a whole different level of player.

tonight's match reminds me of last year when we visit spurs at their home ground... Mata the MOTM with 2 goals and 1 assist. simply spectacular. I hope he gets to start tonight, together with Torres

no ramires to counter paulinho and capoue in mid. fuhhh... it's going to be a long night if we field mikel - lampard combo. hopefully JM drop oscar to lampard position. which is highly unlikely. pairing in oscar and luiz in mid could be good for this game. i'm goiing for this line up for tonight:

cech
iva cahill terry cole
oscar luiz
schurlle/kdb mata hazard
torres

a big no for another eto'o start.

look like JM deploy 4-3-2-1 formation. need to control the midfield. ramires will be crucial for this match. expect many of his lung bursting run into spurs penalty box.

Kind of a "safe" lineup dont you think. I was going to comment that the lineup was unlikely until i saw it was confirmed. No willlian, KDB. hmm.gif

I also didn't expect JM to play Luiz and Terry ahead of Cahill. The infamous Lamps-Mikel combo is back, see what can JM do with them differently.

Overall, this team selection isn't my cup of tea, but hope they can change my mind with a solid performance.

mikel-lampard is a gamble. but, with ramires in the mix, i think they're going to be ok. i dont think ramires will be play on wide right. lampard-mikel-ramires combo is more likely.
