A great game I think and the flow of the play was much better compare to the games here in Asia. Oscar's goal is marvellous. I thought Hazard was not bad, with all his trickery but as always, would be bound to lose the ball here and there.
Mata only started after the 60th, and quite a number of his passing is slightly off target but still good effort. Moses was excellent here with his pace...so hopefully we get to see more of him in the new season. Next stop, AC Milan! |

Happy Monday everyone, those already on leave, Selamat Hari Raya!
Only got to watch the last 20 minutes or so but I thought the play is getting better compare to the Inter match. It's really going to be an exciting season now right? Jose didn't said we will win the title this season, unlike some certain Frenchman that said that his young team can win the title, but end up on the losing side in the Emirates Cup. Certain Scotsman has been quite about their title chance and need to rely on the senior team members to give a hindsight on the game. Now it's going to be Real Madrid then. Jose vs his old team, and Carlo also against his old team....will be a good match up don't you think? |

QUOTE(masterpoloking @ Aug 6 2013, 03:33 PM) confirm will be on this thursday morning 9am, but still dont know which channel its going to be shown on Astro.. Good day to enjoy the match since everyone will be celebrating Raya at home!this is dramatic match...mourinho facing his ex club and ancelotting facing his ex club.. there is going to be lots of mutual respects in this match. it's really not going to be an easy match but i believe we still stand a chance of beating real madrid. I'm ok if we didn't win the cup but I'm excited to see how we play against Real, this is truly going be a test for us...and if we succeed, I would say we will be stronger for the coming season! |

QUOTE(SlomoX @ Aug 26 2013, 03:13 PM) Our defence will need to be it tip top condition for tomorrow's game...and from there, hope we can boss the midfield. No matter how, I hope that we win....2-1 maybe? With some controversial of course! |

QUOTE(hidzwan @ Aug 27 2013, 01:36 PM) Let's give some playing time to Essien, Mata, Lukaku for this weekend. With some due to get rested. Stick the back four coz i think it's been while we seen our defenses line this are this tight. Didn't expect Lamps to start 3 games in a row, and obviously you can see the vast difference between the match against Hull and MU last night.Lamps was awesome against Hull then go down to average against Villa, finally drop to piss poor against MU. lol. sign of ageing |

QUOTE(Ichighost @ Aug 28 2013, 02:25 PM) well two of Roman favourite players..Luiz and Mata..so there is no chance that both or either of them to leave Chelsea.. It will be very silly if our owner decided to sell some of our best players to a rival team, it's like shooting our own foot. The season only started for 2 weeks, and we are close to playing 4 matches...zombie mode on for us who watch those early morning kick offs. But this weekend, aside from our Super Cup match, interesting to see the North London and MU Liverpool derby!Rooney transfer might end up like Gerrard transfer..maybe we looking at options now..Atsu..Jackson..and Eto.. |

Certainly our group by far looks the easiest. No complains there. City and Arsenal landed in quite a tough group themselves, while MU also have Shaktar which won't be a walk in the park.

Seriously, I don't think it's a bad game for us. We might not be possessing much of the ball, but there's fluidity in most of our play. We also created quite a number of chances in the 2nd half and during extra time, even when we're down to 10 men.
A lot of positives from yesterday match and we all know that when it comes to penalties, it's anyone's game. Good to see most of the lads consoling Lukaku after his kick, meaning he still have lots to learn. Keep our heads high as we gave the current European Champs a run for their money throughout the match. Well done lads! |
